 I'd love for Tali and Kal to get together - providing Male Shepard's don't romance her.True, their interaction was a tiny tiny thing... but I read a lot into it 
I definitely agree with the earlier comment about Kal's practicality balancing out Tali's more idealistic approach. They make a great match. Since ME3 is the conclusion, I'd love to see some characters besides Shepard and his/her chosen partner get romantic closure of a sort. Tali and Kal would be a great way to do that.
Shep isn't the only one in the galaxy with a heart y'know? 

Besides that I fully support Kal returning in any capacity. He's awesome. My favourite Quarian for sure.

I'll throw in my support as well. Kal was definitely one of the coolest NPCs in ME2, so I would love to see him return in any way, shape or form.

As far as Tali is concerned, I did enjoy her romance, but most of my Sheps are female, so I would definitely like to see her have some fun in those games as well. It makes sense to me that she'd pick another quarian if Shepard is not the equation, and Kal is, IMO, the most eligible quarian male we've met so far (unless they introduce some amazing new quarian NPC in ME3). While I don't think she's actively interested in him as of ME2, I think there's potential there, as she definitely wants to know him better, at least, even if it's just as a friend.

On Kal's part, when she asks him why he's on the Rayya, he hesitates a bit before saying that he showed up to defend her in the trial. Also, he spontaneously calls her "Tali" while explaining quarian military tactics afterwards, before lapsing back into "ma'am". The fact that he still calls her "ma'am" after she asks him to call her "Tali" seems more like self-consciousness to me: after all, he is just a soldier, and she's an admiral's daughter, even if said admiral has been up to dodgy stuff.

Anyways, this is just to explain the reasoning behind the idea, as people have asked about it. But if it doesn't happen, I'd still be happy to see Kal make an appearance in ME3.

More Kal would be fantastic. he's one of my favorite characters in the game and I too, even as someone who romances Tali, would LOVE a Tali-Kal romance. I'm a shipper first, the romancing Tali bit is only second to that.

Fangirling aside, I was too stupid to realize who his voice was at first, but when I did I went nuts, since I'm a Firefly and Serenity fan (have all their DVDs and such) Hope he'll show up ME3

I was thinking the same thing.


And I would love Kal'reegar to be a permanent squad member.
However, I doubt Bioware will make it happen, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will be a temporary squad member the side missions/story that deals with the Quarian/Geth conflict.

I think he would make a good squaddie, but I'd much prefer him to have another bad*** cameo. He's just too awesome.

That said, I have romanced Tali once(and never with an import from ME1, shame on me...). I'm all for Tali and Reegar. Tali can take her dad's place on the Admiralty Board and Reegar can be head of military operations who a) doesn't lead them on a fruitless war against the Geth and helps my Shep against the Reapers.

I would say it's possible.  I do have a two different Sheps with Tali that didn't have a ME LI.    I like Tali enough to not do any conflicts with her.   Outside of those two, I can totally see Tali with Reegar.  She did ask him to just call her "Tali".

We need more Kal'Reegar in ME3.

Reegar is too good for Tali, so leave him alone. He might be one of the last hopes for the quarian race.

Sounds like your Shepard is going soft Saph. TIM wouldn't approve of this and would consider it a liability.

Kal reminds me of a few of friends of mine. Super-loyal. Super-respectful to that "fault" which of course isn't a fault. One thing though, Tali is Shep's.
