Downloaded genesis but it won't start. Tried starting new game and waiting till normandy destruction multiple times. tried downloading over again, still nothing. How do I fix this? I don't like paying for something that doesn't work.

I think someone mentioned that it pops up near the character creator scene; though I can't be sure about that. Perhaps someone can confirm where it is supposed to initiate.

Genesis should start right after normandy blows up, then after it you go to character creation. I know it works but i too am having a problem. When the game starts, Genesis should give you bonuses as if you imported a lv 60 character. Now i get the money and resource bonuses, but not the lv gain or any par/reg points. i did first mission and didnt gain any exp or par/reg points. So now i cant lv up, not sure what happened.

Having kept a beady eye on the 360 tech boards (still not sure why I bother) there hasn't actually been that much in the way of solutions concerning problems that may have occured with Genesis. If there are issues I believe the only way to try and resolve them is to contact EA support; and if they indeed have a solution it would be good if it is shared.

The wording of your post does not suggest to me that you are seeking help, but merely stating that something has occurred in your case as well. Though at the time of writing it would seem that Genesis problems would require official support.

Well actually i have been looking for help, but can't find any. I finally found a number to call EA and they didn't really have an idea either. But i was told they would look into it and try to find a solution and contact me in 24 to 48 hours.

To play "Genesis", the interactive comic from BioWare that gives you the main plot choices of Mass Effect for character creation in Mass Effect 2, you must start a new game. If you have already created your Shepherd and passed the cut-scene where he dies at the beginning of the game, you will not be able to play "Genesis".
Start a fresh game, get through the cut-scene where the Normandy is under attack and as soon as the scene ends with Shepherd falling through the atmosphere of the planet, it should start.

The deletion of your Saved Game is a last resort step, so please do not do this step. However, clearing the cache and resetting the console date can ensure your download and patch updates are current.

So, I searched your account and see that you changed some account information through our Customer Experience team. Please give the servers some time to re-sync your account.

Also, the troubleshooting link I provided can assist you, once the re-sync has occurred.

Rosario, I wanted to touch base and check back with you to see if you are still having the same issue.

The best way to test if your account has synced is to see if you still have access to any other DLC for BioWare games.
