Agree about the female avatars.  I'd like one with a hood that leaves my face a mystery.    I'm also more of a lurker, but do have the need to put in my two cents worth once in a while.

There are some on the stick in the other forums.  Short, short version is that you need to log in via the button in the lower left of the character creator, and then upload it from the final page of character creation (where you also have the save button).  Then wait a while (an hour or so) and it should show up in the profile photos selection screen.
