There are a few forums out there about what you dislike about the PC's voice but none about which ones you like.

post which voice you choose for you avatar and which voice you like the most

I choose the cocky one for my dalish elf, but I also liked the sulty one (btw it may just be me but is she voiced by the same person that did Aerie they sound alot alike in a few lines) and use that for a few of my characters

lol i dont remeber but this avatar pic.. dwarf is exp voice xD for my human noble... dont remeber but some voice sound cools... wish they add more different voices like tough , evil and many more xD

I was torn between sultry and mystical for the chatacter in my avatar. I think I like mystical better but the way the sultry voice animated the face did it for me - it makes her look crazy and that really helps me settle into character.



Also, I think we're only dealing with one (maybe two) actors for each race/gender. They all sound like the same person to me, just in a different mood.

Went for cocky, but every time I go back to the character creation screen it gets defaulted back to Wise for some reason. cocky reminds me a lot of Balthier from Final Fantasy XII.

I'm playing Warrior first and chose Violent. For some reason her voice tone sold me rather than her quotes.

I picked cocky because my avatar is the spitting image of myself and I'm something of a cocky bastard. My second choice would be violent.

I think JessicaGlenn, hit on an interesting concept. Were voice choices made because of the "sound" of the voice, or what the actual voices were saying?



My choices are "mood of the moment" choices, and will probably change for my different characters until the game is released, lol.

it depends on the class of the character and I do check both the voice and the dialogue whin I find one that is the most interesting for the class of character then that what i use and will keep it throughout game play. Since I believe their are no Vocal interactions with anyone (I could be wrong) there really is no reason to worry about it accept for your own personal tastes.

Wasnt too pleased with the selections. I went with experienced. Everyone seemed to adapt to something I didnt want to be like hehe, hopefully there are different tones than the character creator contained..

I picked the wise voice for my human noble. I'd be happy if we'd have more voices to choose from, though.

they ended up having many voices for nwn 1&2, granted those voice's weren't lip synched with character facial animations, but I hope they will get more sooner or later.

Wise was too mellow, Violent I just couldn't take seriously (the elf Violent voice sounds too much like a teenager trying to act tough, IMHO),so for my first character (The avatar, FYI) I went with cocky.



It fits his projected personality. Naturally, available dialogue options will limit this, but I envisioned as a perpetually sarcastic deadpan snarker.

The selection really is poor, but in any case,

Agreed on needing more voices. Suggestions from me include:
Macho, for the guys, like The Rock,
Tomboy, for the gals, too many good examples to list here,
Serious, think Harry Potter's Professor McGonagall,
Spirited, best example I can think of for this is Final Fantasy 10's Yuna,
Deep, like Barry White, deep voiced characters can be interesting,
& Spunky, like Final Fantasy 10's Rikku & Tidus. (Rikku, &  Tidus)
Let's get some variety!

Edit: Almost forgot,

Tayo: I forget, & dunno if i'm gonna stick with the voice anyway, for Tayo is unfinished & not ready to go in all respects anyway.

I'll probably go with wise or experienced for my male human. My character doesn't fit anything else, though he doesn't fit those either I suppose. I can't remember which I chose for my dwarf.

I picked sultry for my avatar because if fit her personality best. I really like the voices in this game. Much better than the nwn voices imo.

Picked Wise for my character. Adds to his I know everything demeanor which you can pretty much tell from his slight sneer in the avatar

I found wise to be my favorite. I liked the cool and calm air it added to the character.
