The Dragon Age wiki can give you a much better answer than the forums could. I reccommend checking there. Very well done wiki imo.

I just hope they will lose there accents in DA3, sorry to say they where kind of annoying in DA2, odn't get me wrong I LOVE the whole "The Hanged man is so, filty!" And Varric mocking of the line.

Here is an old poll about that http://social.biowar...19/polls/2638/.
I'm glad to see that Tewinter is winning, but I have a bad feel that DA3 will follow for enchantment to Orlais.

I would like to meet Celine of Orlais, but if Bioware brings their A-game, any locale will be good for me. And If Bioware went completely out-of-character and included an open world ala Morrowind?

Image IPB

Of course, it would have to be a Bioware open world. This would mean many meaningful character interactions with serious consequences. Bioware characters + Morrowind's exploration? Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB

I'll keep dreaming. I'd pay $200 for that dream, by the way.

I'd like to see the relationship with Feynriel developed further and I don't mean in an intimate sense. I'd like to also see the Qunari in another light and what could be done for or against Tevinter influence in Kirkwall. In other words, what happens after the choices are made. How about Hawke's love interest and where that relationship takes them. (*PLEASE* No tragic love stories.) Since Hawke doesn't sleep, how about a journey into the Fade. (Fatigue has to kick in eventually.) I have a lot of ideas, but I can't elaborate on them out of respect for the (No Spoilers Allowed) tag.

I'd like to go anywhere *except* Orlais. I've got a feeling that I'm going to be disappointed. It isn't the accent. Stephane Cornicard has what might just be the sexiest voice on the planet. It's just that I'm allergic to "fancy." I want the sensual simplicty of Antivan leather, steeped in assassin's poison, of course. And the rugged utility of the Anderfells. And the brutal pragmatism of Tevinter. Pretty much, anywhere that isn't Orlais.

Multiple countries to be honest, why not do a travel Thedas multiple option implemented into the acts? their 3 year time bursts were crap so do smaller time amounts but do it in distance not time. I hate to use examples from other games and especially this one, but why not similar to Witcher 2? take it like this for example, lets say DA3 has 3 acts again:

Act 1- The Free Marches (?) war is already all over and Hawke (or whoever) needs to join with his sided force from DA2.

Act 2- The Tevinter Imperium (if sided with Mages)/ Orlais (If sided with Templars)- Hawke (or whoever) does...whatever their side wants/needs them to do.

Act 3- Act 2 locations but vice versa(?)- Final confrontation of war and whatever the plot spits out at us.

It would be interesting to play as a Qunari alongside the standard origins.

Not to be a wet blanket but considering what they're doing with the mage/templar war I wouldn't get my hopes up for Tevinter, which is probably the least likely setting considering the mages there are already free. However while Tevinter wouldn't really make sense as a setting in the context of the war, I would expect them to be heavily involved with the conflict in some way.

As long as it's set in more than one city I don't care where it is. But I would thoroughly enjoy checking out Tevinter.

I don't even mind if it was set in a single city again. I'd just expect that city to be more than 5 areas populated by about 40 people. Kirkwall wasn't particularly larger than Denerim nor was it any more interesting.... despite Denerim making up less than 10% of the game's content.

If it were to be set in a city, I'd expect it to be colossal... something along the lines of the size of Liberty City from GTA3, perhaps?

I thought some more about this question and quite honestly, I'd like to see the next installment at least start in Kirkwall. I want to know what happened to the Champion. That he/she just disappeared seems sort of anti-climactic. I constantly find myself wondering... "WTF"!?! Having heroes just vanish into legend doesn't really do it for me in games like this. So I say, start us out in Kirkwall and go from there.

In all honesty...I prefer DAO over DA2 to start with.Maybe because DOA set a certain story line and DA2 is jus totally different.and lack of darkspawn sadly. What to see or where to go...I'd love to see and play the darkspawn side of the story. Not as much as the brainless ones from Darkspawn Chronicles, but more the ones from awakening.Since the option was given to leave those dudes alive i really hoped for an expansion where you could play them. I really wouldnt mind playing as darkspawn and attack key points from the "freeps" to use a lotr term.

I'd like to see the gray Wardens back. That's for sure.Maybe to find out what happened with morrigan...As you could follow her into that mirror.see what kind of kid I fathered :D tevinter and orlais could be nice..so could be the homeland of sten.Elves never interested me much.

So in short : More gray warden action , more darkspawn/dragons , the place doesnt really matter as long as the story is good i'm not too fussed.thought DA2 was lacking a bit :(

A more level combat system for one. Don't get me wrong, I loved the faster combat of DA2, but it shouldn't take me sevreal hits to kill a grunt enemy when I'm a lvl 50 warrior.

Custom Equipment for ALL. The armor system for party members in DA2 annoyed the hell out of me.

Better Companion Quests... FTL. Seriously. There was like one or two quests pre companion pre arc, and if you didnt do it you couldnt move forward in your romance, or friendship or rivalry.

Better Side quests: I like side quests, but the ones in DA2 sucked because they reused maps, had no point, and were very.... blah in content.

STOP REUSING MAPS: Good god, by the second arc I was sick of the game because of how often I was seeing the same locations....over... and over... and over... and over again.

Day-Night-Hightown-Darktown-Outside-Inside: I hated the means of travling in DA2.

DA3 needs to throw away the ristrictiveness of DA2 and open up to the flexibilty creativity and support of DA:O&A, having said that the trailer for ultimate edition shows what I think would be a great start.

I.e. it would be great to join up with some other grey wardens, maybe Hawke being recruited by one of the cast from DA:O, go an hunt the true source of the blight maybe an end game solution, but along the way getting mixed up in a war amongst Orlais the Qunari and Ferelden.. having to choose which two side you get to ally and destroy the other then use their support to help prevent a new Archdeamon.

OR could be interesting to a some point quest to clear the Dwarven Thaigs of the darkspawn and beat them back to their source leaving the remaining dwarves to rebuild, re-discover golems etc.

Going to several different countries in da3 perhaps over the span of 1-5 years in each one would be very interesting.

but no more lets spend the whole game in one dead city crap like da2.

Don't put Hawke and Ferelden into the same sentence.
Hawke is a wimp who fled from the blight like a little kid. He should be considered a traitor.
Only Warden is real hero. Let us Hawke stick to being clueless fool. He is best at it.

Par Vollen, Rivain, Antiva, Orlais, Tevinter and the other side of an Eluvian. I NEVER want to see Ferelden, The Free Marches, Orzammar or another Dalish camp, ever, ever, ever.

Yeah, escaping from certain death is for wimps.

On topic: Antiva is the most interesting option to me.

Hawke is from Ferelden, like it or not, the only wimp in DA2 is Sebastian and he is from whateverhell came from..

You know. There re many who didn't flee. Warden companions, those who fought against Archdemon and many many more. Many of them didn't die.
So i have no clue what "certain death" are you talking about. And tbh  I am not interested in any excuses. hawke is a coward and nothing you say is going to change that.
