The Warden left Lothering to it's fate, ya some hero.xkg wrote...
Don't put Hawke and Ferelden into the same sentence.
Hawke is a wimp who fled from the blight like a little kid. He should be considered a traitor.
Only Warden is real hero. Let us Hawke stick to being clueless fool. He is best at it.

Wow you are genius. Yes he did at the time he didn't have any army. But he stayed to save the rest of the country.
Hawke instead of this did what. Oh yes he fled to kirkwall to search for lost torn trousers and lost corpses of various dudes wives. Noble he is indeed.

Of course the Warden did. That's because the Blight is Grey Warden business, not Hawke's business. Hawke's job is to take care of her/his family. Ferelden was not safe for Hawke or her/his family at the time.xkg wrote...

Hawke was from Lothering, a town that the Warden left to it's fate, a town that was destoryed and almost everyone was killed, the people who survived either fled Ferelden or went somewhere else to hide, Hawke cared more about there familly then a country with no king, on the brink of civil war and a darkspawn horde coming. I don't see how protecting your familly is being a "wimp".xkg wrote...

Also why mention fetch quest that you don't even have to do or act like that's all you did in Kirkwall?

You know. I am not interested in any discussion with you so just drop it.
You are so blind you won't see the truth no matter what and we both know that.
I would show you somthing from the old motivational threads about "tasting like a chicken" but that would mean a ban for me.
My discussion with you ends here.

It's xkg, he's always like this, he thinks he is right and everyone is wrong, and if you don't agree then you don't see the "truth" The point is he won't post anything because he can not counter my point.Sparrow Hawke wrote...

When someone is Warrior like Hwake /or Carver and he is running away from his country instead of fighing he would be considred a traitor and coward by everyone - at least by those who aren't traitors and cowards - sooo .....

I wish there was an option for your Hawke to stay in Lothering and you know get killed by 1000's of darkspawn which would swiftly lead to a scene of Varric closing the book and going 'the end' saying "Hawke was an idiot" leaving Cassandra dumbfounded.

I found it quite amusing how in DA2 we're meant to be fleeing the darkspawn and yet in the prologue we cleave our way through like 100 of them.

On the other hand, the idea of listening to only Orlasian accent for most of the game doesn't thrill me.

I'd like to see Tevinter, but I don't know how the game is going to make mage characters the player encounters seem 'neutral'. These days, RPG games like to portray different shades of grey. Tevinter seems to be a place full of black and white. Even Kirkwall was filled with mages carrying the looney stick. (Though, I'm not sure if that's the lore's fault or someone else'.)
On the other hand, the idea of listening to only Orlasian accent for most of the game doesn't thrill me.
Actually in Tevinter magic is normal for those in control. Each Tevinter mage is interested in becoming more powerful and climbing the social status and power ladder. So if remaining neutral will help the mage achieve that goal that is what he/she will do.
If throwing support to one or the other side obtains the same result that is probably what will happen. Tevinter mages are opportunistic and will adapt to the situation with his/her own safety as paramount.
