If I remember correctly in one game Carver basically says that to my Hawke in one of our *disagreements*. He wanted to stay and fight.

I thought about it, could have waited for the bulk of the horde but it would have been a really short game methinks. If it hadn't been for Ms. Wings we would have died even before that happens it looked like.

Ideally it will span Oralis, Tevinter, theFree Marches, with Antiva as the middle area that players can return to.

Oh and nowhere is Hawke or Kirkwall mentioned......ever.

The Chantry in Orlais, The Grey Warden headquarters in the Anderfells, The Black Chantry in Tevinter, the Chasind, the Qun are major things talked about much but not explored too much.  Since DA3 is the end of the series, I would expect to see them all plus a Thaig or two.

Id certainly like the mechanics/combatanimation/ and OH GOD YES the artstyle of Origins to return.. Id like it to be set in the Imperium. No set character, all races/backstories ect. Im ok with a voiced protag as long as their is an option to turn his spoken dialog off for myself and others like me who absolutely hate voiced protags in rpgs.

Then again, im a rusting dust covered old dinosaur. A relic of a bygone era, an old man who wont get with the AWESOME! new way of doing things. So thats just me.

Personally, I'd prefer to go to the fade, or somewhere else as mind bogglingly boring. I'm hoping very much that Dragon Age 3 kills the franchise, before it destroys BioWare's reputation and prompts EA to cannibalize and rape them like they did Maxis, Westwood, Bullfrog, and just about every other studio they bought out.

I would like to see the rediscovery of Arlathan, and it's possible impact of the culture of Thedas. A rise of the elves to their former glory. Lore has that the Tevinter mages sank it underground, so would interesting to find it through the Deep Roads.

And a totally new protagonist with any race possible. The possiblities of exploring Arlathan's existance upon the various races could be intriguing, if the devs and writers are willing to undergo a compeliing possibility.

Tevinter is said to be a tropical area, and in a codex about it's military they said elephant riders are used, DO WANT!. I'd love to have a cutscene where our main character hijacks an evil tevinter's elephant and goes smashing through minrathous. Highly impossible unfortunatley.

I was also recently thinking that Arlathan is actually IN parts of Ferelden, but underground. Because what about those ancient ruins in the dalish origin story? It was underground. And that thaig in Witch Hunt had a lot of arlathan stuff. Maybe the lost thaigs were actually built upon the remains of Arlathan, and the dwarves had the idea of building their cities there not knowing they weren't the first to walk upon them.?

Tevinter and the Qunari lands would be interesting because of the culture-shock in comparison to tame ol' Ferelden and lunatic-central Kirkwall. Well, maybe not compared to Kirkwall...

I'd love to see Antiva, Rivain and Nevarra too. I imagine it will be set in Orlais though. Those accents... *whimper*

Where I would like to go in DA3?

Everywhere in Thedas as an open world could allow me to travel where I would like to go.No more corridor exploration.

Well i would like a bit of each place. For example, I think it would be good to have like 2 major cites in each country. I really do like it but i do hope you will get to play as Hawke again.

Not Antiva, everyone would be stabbing you in the streets! More so than they do in Ferelden/Kirkwall.
I'd like to see the Anderfels, but that's like constantly winter, yes? The brightness would hurt people's eyes and be boring for landscapes.

So probably Orlais - I could stomach the accents, there or Nevarra.

I think its pretty obvious where DA3 will take the Warden/Hawke/whoever by now, but I would like to see what Par Vollen is like.

More DAO Qunari, less DA2 Qunari.

I love that ideas! I'd be happy to find out more about the history of elves as well as be in a middle of the conflict between elves and humans. And exploring other side of the eluvian could also be interesting. All that with new protagonistof course.
