I want Orlais, simply because that`s where Sandal is going. Otherwise I wouldn`t care as long as it isn`t set in a single city, or spanning several countries.

I wouldnt mind seeing the original downfall of the mages. The Black city and such. I think that would make a cool story.

Possibly have your character be the cause of it.. or the survivor to tell the tale

In DA 3, if it takes place in Orlais and Bioware insists on making the main character a set protagonist, I hope it's Sandal. First, it would make things easy for their writers and voice actors if every other line is "Enchantment!" plus the romance scene would be comic gold if Sandal seduces the Empress of Orlais:

Empress: "Oh Sandal...I never knew your people had such a big..."

Sandal: "Enchantment...?"

Empress: "Yes! Yes, enchant me all night long!"

Sandal: "Enchantment!"

Second, at least we would be allowed to play as a fantasy race in a fantasy game. Having to be a human in DA 2 was depressing after the previous game allowed for more options in race, class, backstories and skills.

Third, Sandal already has a more mysterious and interesting story than Hawke.

Orlais.  Kirkwall was pretty bland.  Using Versailles, Paris and, well, any number of locations in France as inspiration could make for a great setting.

Pretty much any country would be interesting.  Tevinter and Par Vollen seem like choice locations as well because of the associated cultures.  Among the lesser known regions, Antiva and Nevarre, the former because the Crows are cool and the latter because I imagine it with Shadow & Claw imagery or at least some--caution, incoming strange phrase--distinctive necropoli.

Rather than stuck in one place like Orlais it would be nice for Bioware to be big and bold and let us travel to more places in Thedas including a trip to see the Qunari.

you're all thinking small! Why not Orlais, Antiva, Tevinter and Par Vollen all together. It would be a turn up. Origins had whole of Ferelden, that was good, but DA2 had it dumbed down to 1 city with it's surroundings, what a dissapointment. =/
Now, if this happens to be the end of DA saga all together, they should expand it, much like how ME3 will have planets of all other races involved.

Because that would put too much strain on?  We are all talking about one country (the prefered one that we want to see), not one city.  I doubt anyone wants to do another DA2.  Fereldan was plenty for DAO, Kirkwall was too small for DA2, so, just one country would be plenty.

I would like to see both Orlais and Tevinter, especialy Tevinter since we have heard so much about big bad evil Tevinter but havn't seen it for ourselves. Wonder if it's as bad as the chantry would have everyone believe.

I'd also like to have a Dalish companion that isn't completely insane or stupid.  Someone like the one we had in the Witchhunt DLC.

I'd like to see some kind of guild with renewed missions, once in while. Repeatable quests too, maybe. This would add a lot to the gameplay. Players who would use the guild a lot would get higher ranks and be able to do harder missions... And we could upload our scores online to receive more prices from BioWare. It would be like freebies to celebrate the franchise. Costumes for your companions, new weapons, armours, potions... Stuff. I'd love to see an arena thing like in Orzammar too, where we could beat up npcs or tamed monsters for random prizes.

... I sound like a masochist, but I love grinding...

Couldn't agree more but it Bioware want to release a DA game roughly every 2 yrs then it ain't gonna happen.  So far they haven't been really big and bold (DA:O only had Fereldan) and having all those areas would be a step in that direction.

• Chantry (based in Orlais) is falling apart.
• Tension between Orlais and Ferelden.
• Morrigan was heading there after DAO.
• Bodhan / Sandal were heading there after DA2 (Bodhan's alright, but I'm sick of Sandal by now <_<)
• I hear the stone lives beneath Orlais.

Seems like there's plenty of potential in Orlais if it is set there.

Speciafically I'd like to see Val Royeaux, Montsimmard, the Dales, and maybe that ash place to the southwest (I don't think it's actually part of Orlais but I'm curious about it). Seems unlikely one game would cover those areas but they're just places I'd like to see.

 Really is no one interested in Antiva. I guess I'm the only Zev fan. It could be interesting with all the constant political drama and the Crows could make it interesting so many possibilities....
