I think people who talk about DA being "destroyed" by DA2 really need to look at their priorities.
I don't think it's fair to accuse them of having distorted priorities. I think maybe it's more accurate to simply point out to them that their priorities do not reflect the majority. For example, I absolutely hate how easy games are. I loved how frustratingly difficult old NES games were because the feeling you get when you get slightly further or in the rare case actually beat the game (I'm lookin at you T.M.N.T) was better than the hollow feeling of finishing a game that was a cake-walk. When I was in my youth I raged pretty hard about such things but I realized that I'm in the minority and that it's not realistic to expect every company to make things I like - instead I simply look for games that have decided to aim for that niche market (or just play old games).

Yep. Its unfortunate that DLC doesn't have a "key" that would allow the creation of a Registered Game Owner section for that content. I suspect that the discussion of Legacy is going to be marred by non purchasers ranting incessantly about content that they didn't even buy.
What!? This happens on the internet?

Yes, I'll buy it as soon as it becomes available. Unfortunately, I doubt I'll be able to play immediately as that's the same day that Butcher's "Ghost Story" comes out. I'll be haunting my front windows, waiting for the UPS guy.
I'm sorry, BioWare. I feel I'm letting you down, not playing it as soon as I get it, but I've been waiting for the resolution to this cliffhanger for a year and a half, now.
I love cliffhangers, which is probably why I loved DAII so much. People who want every little plot point wrapped up in a tidy little bow annoy me. Where's the mystery? Where's the fun? I'm always up for loose ends that engage the imagination.
Oh crap, Ghost Story comes out then?
Well, now I know what I'll be spending my day doing

a single thread made of 17 pages three days before launch tells all. No more interest in da2. The game is too bad and people don't trust Bioware cause of button awesome advertising.
So that would be a 'no', then.

I'm certain that that is, in fact, Mike Laidlaw.
I mean, it's got his name and everything!
