No matter how much good the DLC does in regards to fixing flaws and how good its story is, some people will find some other flaw in it and make hyperbolic statements about it and how CRPGs are ruined.

Tbh, at this stage, I'm seriously expecting nitipicking about the color of the sky or the size of the Collector's feet. It feels like some are scrutinizing the thing on subatomic level to look for flaws. Like they want it to be bad because it would validate their general opinion. It's very depressing.

But hey, Freedom of Rant and all that sort of things :wizard:

Now EA are the real people who should be blamed, specifically the people like Riccitiello or whatever his name is. Evil people with their grins of pure, unmitigated, concentrated evil.....

Must... resist... twirling... moustache.

Yes, confirmation bias can get pretty ugly. It's one of the more depressing traits of human nature.

I'm getting Legacy the day it comes out. I appreciate and thank all the people that make reviews (and provide constructive criticism) but I prefer to form my own opinions on the product by testing it myself.

A thousand times nay!

I doubt the game engine, style or developer ethos has changed.

Also it will be difficult, if not impossible, to find a consumer review I can trust as anyone with integrity whose DA2 review I agreed with will not be buying this DLC. Just as most of those styled 'haters' will have tired and left these forums now.

I hope I can come back with DA3 - actually it's not really a hope anymore - more of a vague daydream with flying pigs that land and start playing an updated, improved and modern Baldur's Gate type thing.

Yep. I liked DA2, and I'm happy to play the DLC.

Nope!
Absolutely not. I didn't buy the prince and I will not buy Legacy. That decision has nothing to do with the quality of Legacy. It doesn't matter if it so gets rave reviews and even everybody here on this forum loves and praises it. I don't want anything to DA2.
...Actually, if Legacy is really good, I'll just be real angry that they couldn't be bothered with Witch Hunt.

I'll be amazed if the devs made Corypheus' feet bigger than Sora's

Absolutely. I didn't much care for DA2 but I love DAO and I'm willing to buy a little more time in Thedas. Also I saw screenshots with Fenris in the trailer and I love a cranky elf.

I stuck with my DA2 pre-order against my better judgement simply thanks to how much I loved the first game, I figured Bioware deserved that even though everything I had seen of the game made me want to cancel.

DA2 was as bad as I expected so I vowed to never spend another penny on a DA2 product, it could be the greatest piece of DLC ever but I wouldn't buy it, the fact it looks like the same dross that was served up in DA2 just makes that choice all the easier.

I just picked up Fallout 3 game of the year edition in the steam sales, for the same price this would have cost me, I know which one I would rather play.

Nope. I'll save my money for From Dust, Limbo, Trine 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. DA2 was mediocre at best and I'm not really excited for Legacy.

Nope. No DA2 DLC for me. I've lost interest.

Now if it were DAO DLC, I'd buy it. ;)

Possibly. Like many here I'm going to wait and read some of the reviews before I decide.
From the trailer it looks like it still has the ninja combat that DA2 had, I loathed that, so possibly not, but for now I'm just going to wait and see.

Yes, I'm buying it. I didn't have a problem with the gameplay in DA2. In fact, I preferred it to Origins, mostly. So a new story and location sounds good to me.

No.

if i could it for free, then maybe(if the DA2 disc hasn't grown mushrooms by all the time it has spend it my garage)

they can say what they want about "addresing concerns", many of MY concerns directly involve a redesign.

i won't be giving my money to a game i found so disappointing, and specially, a Rushed job(yes i know i still bought the game, but i didn't knew it was rushed job until after i bought it), because the day i tolerate a Rushed job made to squeeze money out of me, will be the day I swallow razor wire, pull the end out of my a** and floss myself to death(if you know where this comes from, then give me a HELL YEAH!)

Probably not. I think I'm finished with DA2, and this DLC doesn't even take place after Act 3. No way in hell am I playing this game again just to experience some inconsequential DLC.

Actually, just make that a "no." I don't really want to play this now that I'm thinking about it. Maybe I'll play DA2 again with all the DLC right before DA3 is released... we'll see.

If I was the last man on earth, and Legacy was the last DLC on earth, and all other sources of entertainment had been destroyed in an earthquake, and 50 hours from now a meteor was going to destroy earth....

I would spend my last fifty hours holding my copy of DA2 in front of me as the meteor fell, just to make sure I saw it die before the meteor crushed me.

buying DLC for DA2 is like ordering the Special Edition Blue Ray of the Star Wars Prequels.

this should be an Internet Meme...

I'll get the new DLC. So far I've enjoyed both games, the DLC and Awakening. Just another chapter in a book in my view. I look forward to seeing what it will reveal.

Just curios of how many people are planing to buy Legacy. So, are you?

Not unless I get hear some really good reviews about the story and dialogue from sources I trust.

And even then probably not; my DA:O DLCs don't work, and I'd rather not go through the same hassle with DA2 DLC (especially considering my woes with the preordered game's DRM).

Agree, could not have said it better myself. I just hope they have removed the recycled maps.
