True story: I was just taking a walk today when I found a $10 bill that had obviously fallen out of someone's pocket.

So the dilemma is this: Do I spend it on Legacy, or beer? Legacy...beer...Legacy...beer...it might come down to a coin toss.

Might as well go straight for the beer. After you've finished the dlc, you'll just be drinking to repress the trauma anyway, so why not cut out the middle man?

Jokes aside, yes, I will eventually buy Legacy, but I haven't bought any New Vegas dlc yet, and since FO:3 dlc was so impressive, (notably it didn't contain item packs) I'm going to get the three dlcs released so far for that. Then I'm planning on getting a new computer, so I reckon I'll wind up getting Legacy around November. I only managed one DA:2 playthrough, so I'll still play it because I'm still vaguely interested in the series as a whole. But between MW3 and Skyrim, I'm not going to have much time on my hands for other games in November :P

I say go mad and get both, enjoy yourself!

I am going to. Because with all the feedback and criticism, I don't think there is any way it can be worse than DA2. If it is even worse, well I might just forget about buying any other DA game in future. So it's a win win situation. Also, it's just 10euro, so not much.

Yeah, have to buy it. I'm compulsive about achievements. I hate having games not at 100%, and although I do think it's bogus and lame that your completion % drops whether or not you buy DLC (I'm looking at you, Ninja Gaiden II), it still sticks in my craw.

So although I expect the DLC to be entertaining at the least, and probably pretty fun I'd buy it anyway just for completion silliness.

You know, this thread makes me wonder what percentage of people who buy a game also buy the DLC...and what sorts of sales figures BioWare looks for when producing it. I have a hunch that even really good DLC (like Lair of the Shadow Broker) is only purchased by a fraction of the total number of game owners.

a single thread made of 17 pages three days before launch tells all. No more interest in da2. The game is too bad and people don't trust Bioware cause of button awesome advertising.

How is it a good point? The thread is thirteen days old and evenly split between buy, won't buy, will maybe buy. I fail to see it as a proof that "people" don't trust Bioware bla bla bla Awesome Button.

This thread tells nothing except some people will buy, others won't, others might. What a stunning revelation indeed.

Is this post a trial balloon by someone who works for Bioware's advertising department? Phbbbt.

I have no idea if I'll buy the DLC. I tend to buy the more interesting story ones. Gave the witch one and the Leilana one a miss, but bought the warden's keep one. I avoid the ones with costume and alternate weapons.

Regretted buying one of the mass effect ones (the one with the solo mission with the main character).

Yes, I'm planning to buy Legacy. I have saved Bioware points for this. Hoping for much more to come at least until the third game.

People on this forum make me crack the hell up and shake my head at the same time. Ya'll complain that you want Bioware to change stuff, so they do. They give you (from what I've seen) an awesome DLC and all you can do is **** (not talking about those who are excited for Legacy). Instead of buying it (its not that expensive) and experiencing it yourself, you'd rather watch it on youtube and then buy it. Why? You've already ruined the experience for yourself.

Yeah, I'm one of the ones who loved DA2, sure it had stuff that needed to be fixed. I would say 99% of games out are like that, but this game was def. a 8/10 which is good in my books.

This being said. BRING ON LEGACY! (I've already started a new Hawke in preparation :D )

Of course lots of people won't immediately buy it because many of us immediately bought other DA DLC and were immediately turned off by recycled maps, short duration and false advertising. Not saying I am certain it will suck, but the trend certainly leans in that direction.

In other news Witcher 2 just released yet another DLC. Totally free. What is that? 3 DLCs since launch in May? All of them free with the promise that all future DLC will cost nothing? Hmmm..

I'm on the fence, I'll give it a few days wait untill I get feedback etc before I buy it. If it's total poo then no I won't be buying it (I'll cave in and buy it 3 weeks later, I AM A SLAVE TO BIOWARE)

I will be getting it. Replaying DAII because of it, and rediscovering my love for the game (even, gasp, after playing The Witcher 2, which is an excellent but different style of game).

Looking forward to Legacy, I'm hoping to be through the Deep Roads by tomorrow, so I can play it during act 2.

If you would have asked me this shortly after DA2s release I would have said NO. I usually don't make a habit of buying DLC for games that disappoint me. That said.... I only ever did 1 playthrough originally as opposed to about 9 playthroughs with origins. I let it sit for a couple months and then decided to give it another try. It honestly is not as bad as I originally thought. It was no Origins by any means, but by itself its still a good game.
I will probably buy this one DLC tomorrow as I am about to do what will be my 3rd and final playthrough of DA2.

I'm gonna buy it as soon as it comes live. Not gonna wait for reviews, cause because of them I didn't buy Golems or Witch Hunt until very close to DA2 release date. And i liked them both :P

The problem with TW2 is that you are set with a male character which I don't play. If I don't have a choice of a female character in an rpg, I don't play the game. Yes the game looks good, but I don't see it appealing to female gamers and of course, it was meant for male gamers anyway.

TW2 Is meh, I only got so far in the game before getting anoyyed with the game. I'm a girl and I always play as male characters in rpg's, I liked the voice acting of the player the graphics, but it was rather difficult to get use to after playing DA for so long.

Someone best do a walkthrough for legacy so I can get a gander on the DLC before I buy.
