So the dilemma is this: Do I spend it on Legacy, or beer? Legacy...beer...Legacy...beer...it might come down to a coin toss.

Might as well go straight for the beer. After you've finished the dlc, you'll just be drinking to repress the trauma anyway, so why not cut out the middle man?
Jokes aside, yes, I will eventually buy Legacy, but I haven't bought any New Vegas dlc yet, and since FO:3 dlc was so impressive, (notably it didn't contain item packs) I'm going to get the three dlcs released so far for that. Then I'm planning on getting a new computer, so I reckon I'll wind up getting Legacy around November. I only managed one DA:2 playthrough, so I'll still play it because I'm still vaguely interested in the series as a whole. But between MW3 and Skyrim, I'm not going to have much time on my hands for other games in November

So although I expect the DLC to be entertaining at the least, and probably pretty fun I'd buy it anyway just for completion silliness.

a single thread made of 17 pages three days before launch tells all. No more interest in da2. The game is too bad and people don't trust Bioware cause of button awesome advertising.
LOL good point

How is it a good point? The thread is thirteen days old and evenly split between buy, won't buy, will maybe buy. I fail to see it as a proof that "people" don't trust Bioware bla bla bla Awesome Button.stoicsentry2 wrote...

This thread tells nothing except some people will buy, others won't, others might. What a stunning revelation indeed.

I have no idea if I'll buy the DLC. I tend to buy the more interesting story ones. Gave the witch one and the Leilana one a miss, but bought the warden's keep one. I avoid the ones with costume and alternate weapons.
Regretted buying one of the mass effect ones (the one with the solo mission with the main character).

Yeah, I'm one of the ones who loved DA2, sure it had stuff that needed to be fixed. I would say 99% of games out are like that, but this game was def. a 8/10 which is good in my books.
This being said. BRING ON LEGACY! (I've already started a new Hawke in preparation

In other news Witcher 2 just released yet another DLC. Totally free. What is that? 3 DLCs since launch in May? All of them free with the promise that all future DLC will cost nothing? Hmmm..

Looking forward to Legacy, I'm hoping to be through the Deep Roads by tomorrow, so I can play it during act 2.

The problem with TW2 is that you are set with a male character which I don't play. If I don't have a choice of a female character in an rpg, I don't play the game. Yes the game looks good, but I don't see it appealing to female gamers and of course, it was meant for male gamers anyway.
TW2 Is meh, I only got so far in the game before getting anoyyed with the game. I'm a girl and I always play as male characters in rpg's, I liked the voice acting of the player the graphics, but it was rather difficult to get use to after playing DA for so long.
Someone best do a walkthrough for legacy so I can get a gander on the DLC before I buy.
