No longer interested in DA2.
I think this sums up how I'm heading.
If the DLC had come out snappily after DA2 - MAYBE - (When it was still installed on the hard drive) I would have been a bit more open minded.
But now - I've moved on.
To GOG sales. Bless their little 2.99 stickers!

I really liked DAII and, other than that, seems to be very interesting. Can't wait to smash some Darkspawns with my Hawke.

Not likely.
1) It seems like a blatant attempt to tie Hawke to the Wardens in order to make him even more important/cool/awesome/whatever... too bad I don't actually like Hawke or his/her family, this just drags the wardens down by association.
2) The above not withstanding. No matter how great legacy turns out to be or not, it doesn't retroactively fix the innate crumminess of the rest of DAII. Unless it comes with a Witcher 1 style enhanced edition patch.
This myth about the Witcher enhanced edition patch just has to stop being perpetuated. That patch didn't fundamentally change the Witcher game. At all. Patch 1.03 of DA2 changed gameplay much more than the Witcher enhanced edition patch did.
Also, someone mentioned about content being held back from release. Just about every game made has content that was cut or never fully developed for the main game. But several years ago, that content just never saw the light of day again. Nowadays you get a chance to play through that finished content, for better or worse.
That being said, it sounds like BioWare has listened to feedback from both DA:O and DA2, and ME2, regarding gameplay and DLC quality. One way or another, we'll all find out for sure.

This^ I want you all as my human shields. Seriously, it's a strong and unequivical...maybe.
I will be your shield!
I already have the points anyway, so it's day one buy for me (OK. That didn't sound as heroic as I was going for)

Now if it was Act 4 DLC/Expansion I may consider a day 1 purchase.

This way we can get rid of Hawke in DA3 and start a new story with a new protagonist. It'll allow for a fesh new beginning.

Hell, technically, since I already have the points, I've already bought Legacy.

id rather put the money towards a new game tbh
Witcher 2 is only only 24£ and im ye to pick it up so 7£ for a dlc seems a little unnecessary right now maybe if I have a drought of things to play ill purchase it as a time filler
