No, I won't.

DLC which doesn't address the deeper design flaws of DA2 is not going to entice me to spend more money on a product which I don't consider worth playing anymore.

I also don't consider DLC to be a viable medium for correcting the glaring flaws which are inherent in the game's design. So, although I may keep an eye on the franchise, I don't expect anything to change in the current style and direction until at least Dragon Age 3, if at all.

Maybe.  I'm not playing DA2 any more and not that interested in what I've heard about it, but boredom has led me to do stupider things with my money than buy a DLC for a game I don't really like.

Then again, I'm pretty ticked that my Origins saves are broken due to the "unauthorized DLC" bug.  DRM sucks, and DLC complicates it.

What Billy wrote sums it up pretty spot on for me.

Yeah, I'll buy it.  I'm curious to see how the combat is, and the story might be interesting.  I liked DA2 (though less than DAO) so buying the DLC makes sense.

Possibly; think I need to do another playthrough to get properly into this game, even then I might wait to hear a few opinions on here beforehand.

Will buy it and lol at those door looking shields. Hopefully, there will be one for Hawke/Aveline.

I am curious to see how much of the dlc's storyline will be pandering to the "waaaaaaaaaah I haeeet Hawke and want moar wardenz" crowd.  The whole "Daddy has GW ties" felt a bit contrived to me.

No, no and no.

(I'm not going to spend any money on Bioware just to see if this thing "fixes" DA2. DA2 cannot be fixed, its broken to the core and I'm not going to support the company who destroyed the Dragon Age I loved.)

Probably not - it's not enough to salvage DA2. I'll wait for DA3 instead, hoping it'll be better.

No, too little way too late, if this would be a huge ass expansion that literally fixes everything that is wrong in DA2 then I would consider but as its now there is no reason to even think about getting this DLC for the price tag it has

I never had a big problem with DA2, indeed, I think I enjoyed some of the stuff that irritated some people (not the over-use of the same areas, though!), so I'll certainly be buying Legacy.

I think people who talk about DA being "destroyed" by DA2 really need to look at their priorities.

As long as the new darkspawn & elven designs, the JRPG/cartoon elements and the exaggerated combat are a part of Dragon Age, I'll just read the ongoing story (which I'm still interested in) in the Wiki until something else comes along.

I don't think it's fair to accuse them of having distorted priorities. I think maybe it's more accurate to simply point out to them that their priorities do not reflect the majority. For example, I absolutely hate how easy games are. I loved how frustratingly difficult old NES games were because the feeling you get when you get slightly further or in the rare case actually beat the game (I'm lookin at you T.M.N.T) was better than the hollow feeling of finishing a game that was a cake-walk. When I was in my youth I raged pretty hard about such things but I realized that I'm in the minority and that it's not realistic to expect every company to make things I like - instead I simply look for games that have decided to aim for that niche market (or just play old games).

An expansion? Maybe. A DLC? No. So far, Bioware DLC have been disappointing for me (with the exception of Lair of the Shadow Broker for ME2), they are too short for their price and add very little to the main game. Also, DA2 itself was a big disappointment for me, and I don't feel like supporting it.
