I guess if you really think there's a 50-50 chance even though I've stated numerous reasons why your assumptions are totally far-fetched and why the company's actions so far do not jive with them developing MP, I suppose there's also a 50-50 chance that ME3 with have Shepard swapped with Solid Snake as the protagonist. I've got exactly as much evidence for that as you do for multiplayer.

Because they know that whatever they say will be taken out of context and/or spun to mean something entirely different. They are better off not saying anything because it doesn't add fuel to any fires.

They don't really shush anyone. and if they do have you considered they shush the topic because it's inaccurate? why shush accurate topics? i mean seriously what are they waiting for to announce the MP if it's there?  E3 already happened no word of it. yet they mention(while not necessarily showing) the new RPG elements and deeper customization. If they were hoping to attract people with MP they're doing it wrong this way. If they aren't working on MP there is no reason to say they aren't when the game was never really portrayed as having MP in the first place it was totally out of the blue and if i remember correctly this all started because of a vague comment by some EA rep in an IGN article.

Of course they are, they have been since ME2.

That's beside the point, they still say that they are not working on MP or focusing on SP.

I expect a multiplayer spin off game not developed by Bioware but set in the Mass Effect universe. Probably something similar the way Ghost Recon online will work.

It's one of those things that would get spun by people so that they could say that Bioware has declared there will never be a multiplayer Mass Effect game or whatever and then when a multiplayer Mass Effect game shows up, people will scream BETRAYAL when BioWare never said that ME was a singleplayer only franchise.

Multiplayer might be interesting, but I don't think it's worth the resources. Stick with what they're good at, and use all their time/money/effort on making a great action rpg, just like every other game in the series.

So a ME3 demo before/after launch seems likely (they have been doing demos since the merger with EA: DA2, ME2 and DAO getting the CC demo)

It would be nice if they did a playable demo to download prior release. It was fun for DA2 to get a feel of how the game will play.  


As long as they dont do a downloadable item DLC for completing this time.  I felt that gimmick was a bit unfair on those people steering clear of spoilers.

EA would be making a pretty silly career move if they forced Bioware to implement a MP into ME3. Chances are, if a ME multiplayer feature ever comes out, it will be an entirely separate game. That way they can pull a "Brotherhood" and continue making money.

Not hating on EA or Bioware. I'm quite serious. It would be very confusing if ME3 had a multiplayer function.

Time and money spent on developing any kind of workable multiplayer DEFINITELY will take a lot of resources away that could've been spent on perfecting singleplayer. Your continual push of, "Well, I am most certainly correct because you are not a developer and thus everything you assert is incorrect." while not providing any further logical reasons for your assertions are getting tiring.

If they pushed the release to add multiplayer, there would have been no additional resourses or manhours for the singleplayer.  It would have just come out.

Then you realize it says "Location: Edmonton". Swtor is being developed in Austin.  ME3 is in Edmonton :\\

Possible, but unlikely.  They are working on TOR, ME3  and Dragon age 3 right now.  The job is not for TOR and
unlikely for DA 3, but not impossible.  It strongly suggests one other title.

P.S.  I believe the other team works on DLC and small projects.

if it has multi player im out my trust in bioware has been shaken so i dont really put my money on the line ne more i got lucky with not getting da2 i aim to keep that luck

I've seen similar offerts in regards to Blizzard and console games since Warcraft 3. I haven't seen Blizzard console game ever since Diablo 1 and SC1.

Still amazing how a Multiplayer discuss spun from someone who wanted to know whose interested in the planned ME3 demo that will hopefully release later this year for us to download. I mean are people that afraid of Multiplayer they scream it when a demo is mention. I am sure Bioware is considering a Multiplayer Mass Effect game after ME3 is being put on a disc and shipped out to stores. I hope the future Mass Effect game that features it will still have an awesome focused story like the previous Mass Effects.
