Hi there,
I'm new. It looks like I'm not able to post replies to open topics. It tells me "you are not allowed." Heh. Any suggestions?

Not sure, had this happen in the Toolset forum, for which you must register first or something.

Certain forums require you to be a registered game owner. Mind that the permissions for the toolset discussion forum (which is not one of them) seem to be incorrect at the moment.

OK, I was trying to post in Dragon Age and we do have the game, so what do I need to do to be able to post there?

Open your profile and add the game there.

I have the game registered but since the new toolset forums were added, I can't post in the general toolset forum anymore. All other forums work, so this is a bug.

Log out of your account. Log back in. Does that fix your issue AnTeevY?

Thanks Fester, that worked for me.

Well it won't let me register my game, probably because my husband has already used the same code for his login. I see that when I play, it says "logged in" and his email address, so apparently my exploits are uploading to his login- and he looks like a really obsessive player. LOL
Anyway, any suggestions for how to use the forums in this situation? I'd rather not use his forum login as my own. The forum designers obviously didn't plan on more than one person in a household? The couple who games together stays together, people.

Also having problems with being able to reply in some forums (I've been able to reply there before and I *have* registered).
Specifically, I can't reply in the Campaign forum (when I've been able to before). Logging out then back in does not solve the issue. It actually looks like I can reply to some topics there, but not others. Weird issue :/

Those are most likely locked topics.

Yeah, I did log in with my husband's profile and on all the forums it says "You do not meet the requirements to post in this forum" even though we're uploading our characters and obviously have a registered game. I understand putting measures in place to reduce piracy, if that's what this is all about, but making the forums so difficult to access and navigate is self-defeating IMO.

The toolset forum is availabel only to people who have successfully registered their cdkey *on this site*. It has nothing to do with whether your character data is showing up.

I'm talking about the Dragon Age forums. I'm posting on this forum because a) it is site help, and
it seems to be the only forum on which I can post at all.

When, and if, you actually wake up, smell the coffee, and amend your profile to show the game there, only then will you have any reason to complain about not having permission!

To get access to the registered-owner-only forums, register your copy of the game here:

AHEM. I believe I posted above that we had in fact registered our game. At least, that my husband had, and on his login, the forums are still not enabled for posting. When you wake up, smell the coffee, and actually read the thread... etc. etc.

I'd love to do that. My problem is that I'd registered and a few days ago it seems my profile has forgot I registered - of course you can't use the key again.

I started having the same issue today. I've not posted before but I have been reading the Dragon Age forums. today I started seeing this message at the top of most of the forums:
You do not meet the requirements to post in this forum.
-I've never seen that message before today.
-my game is registered to this log in
- I tried logging out/back in
any ideas?

The only time and place that I see that is in locked threads.
I see no "Locked" symbol on it, but THIS one returns that error code to me: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/6/index/379115

Ironic that I can't reply to the first topic in this forum concerning the Dec 4th site build - that's what happens when you don't stick to the change freeze on Fridays
A lot of old problems have returned, such as tabs not working on groups, projects or profiles, and drop-down menus not being selectable on the left-hand side of each page.

Strangely, that topic does have a Locked symbol now. At any rate, the bugs are still back.
