 hello, i have just bought nw2 platinum on steam, and when i try to create account for multiplayer mode it tell me that i hace no cd key registered. A friend of mine bought it too and he is not asked for this.... i have the cd keys on steam, but as i come to bioware page there is no place to enter this cd key.. so what i've to do to play multiplayer on nw2?

steamn provides a cd key while in game hit shift + tab and it sould bring up the window wiith the cd key, its worked for every game ive purchased so far including borderlands and all its DLC

Is not working. in "c:\\user\\adminuser\\document\\nwn2\\nwncdkey.ini" I have the "key1/2/3=" with steam key. I have platinum version from steam too.

Did you try this:

A. Steam has an issue where it does not save the Cdkey correctly all the time. If you run into this issue you will have to create your own ini text file with your cdkeys in it.

You should put this file in your application folder as shown below.
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\neverwinter nights 2

Create a text document called nwncdkey.ini using something like notepad.

In this document write

[CDKEY]
Key1=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Key2=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
key3=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

Make sure you've got the same file and information in your Documents\\NWN2 folder (grasping at straws but give it a look).

Ok, sorry for my bad english, anyway i repeat everything. I read Kaldor another time and i check the directory, the nwncdkey.ini is gone so i create it another time and copy/paste in document and steam/nwn2 directory, now i can see gamespy server from the game.
