Random Encounter Maps, same size as SoZ OM maps. Most common terrain types covered. Also includes pretextured 4x8 and 12x12 maps, swap the textures and you're good to go, they were used as the basis for all the maps if you want a sample of what they can do. The maps themselves are slightly light on detail, as they were made for a PW.

Thanks for sharing these, Kamal. I like how the swamp came out. And I can see having a pitched battle on the center island in the middle of the river, in the third screenshot.

I may look into using these when I get back into the  Edinmoor campaign.

Harumph!

That's what I released them for, so they can be used! As they were designed to be random encounter areas, some don't have a strong "identity" and are intentionally a little generic to allow them to be plugged in anywhere or used as the template to a more interesting area (eg plop down a ruins and you're ready to go). I did try to work in some interesting things, ruins in the distance and such. And as you said that bridge and river island is designed to be the main conflict point of that map.

I should add that in the "bandit camp" map, the camp is set up in some ruins in a temperate forest, and the town is set in a snowy mountain area at the end of a path. I hadn't put screenshots of these on the vault. Also there are a couple of interiors, not just a single one.
