Is it me or is the premade face more detailed? Almost every custom face i make I have to restart after the first mission because he looks like a mutant whereas the shepard from the cover looks badass.
Female characters always look good when I make them...
What do you guys think?

That's why all my malesheps are Sheploo.

I'm not a fan of Sheploo, so custom face for me....Yes Sheploo is more detailed, but I noticed the detailing on my custom Shep improved from ME1 to ME2 and I suspect there will be even more detail in ME3, hopefully rivaling Sheploos.....Have you looked at ME2 custom work in the 'Share Sheps Face' threads? Some of them do rival Sheploo for realism already, they look awesome.

It's a pain to come up with a decent maleshep, but try and try again and you'll get something decent.

All my first playthroughs were with sheploo, now i cant even play with something else than him




Personally i think he looks even better than sheploo...

It is most likely because Sheploo is a digitcal scan of Vanderloo's face and not just a character-creator generated face.

Male Shepards are so freaking hard to make.
