HI i recently completed Dragon age origins on PC that i got off steam as a download.
I then decided to get the ultimate edition of steam as it had awakening and the DLC.

Once it had finally downloaded it seemed all was ok I started witch hunt dlc and imported my hero in to the game, played through that bit of DLC then decided to go on awakening.

BUUUUTT when i start awakening it wont allow me to import my character it just takes me straight to the character creation screen.

The character is defenitly still there as his file is inside the dragon age folder in my 'games' folder and he shows up when i press the 'switch chracter' button on the load screen, and now if i try to restart a witch hunt campaign it wont even allow me to import him in to that.

Please can someone help ive tried to unistall and reinstall, and tried making a new save from my old witch hunt save, nothing i try works

First, did you uninstall the original version of DAO first? That can cause issues.

Second, when you tried to re-import into WH, were you trying to load a save from before WH was completed? This almost sounds like a problem with your save instead of a problem with the game.

Finally, do you have any mods installed? If so which ones and are you using a modmanager?

No i uninstalled DAO original and ultimate at the same time, and started fresh. and no it was a brand new campaign loaded from the 'other campaign' menu with witch hunt annnnd nope no mods or anything.

I would create a new character for the main game. Play a few minutes then save and see if that character will import into the other campaigns. If it will, it suggests that something is wonky with your character's save.

Can you load the save of the character in which he is part way through WH?
