I believe Mister Gaider should be held accountable to these serious questions. It is clearly an evil plot by EA to extort cash from our pockets, and that is why he shan't reply.

For shame!

But.. but.. he did reply.

TIME PARADOX

Not to my question! Sure, I got an answer. But I demand one from him! I am outraged by the mystery of Dog's ending! Was that grey dog his friend?! Enemy?! Will it be a major character in future?!

I'm not parodying the outrage some folk have over Morrigan's at all

Mr. Gaider, will you accept cookies as a form of payment?

Cookies are stronger then the Canadian dollar right now, or so I've heard.

Huh, I thought as much, although I wasn't sure.

Does that mean that Dog gets it on with Morrigan in th... oh my. Oh my, my my my.

If you refuse her thats how she ends up pregnant, duh.

actually... she DID turn into a wolf-thing after you turn her down AND the dog WAS exposed to the darkspawn blood/taint... this is very possible.  so the ending is that she has a puppy in her belly with the soul of an old god.  that's pretty intense.

I'll give Mr. Gaider 100 bucks if he will write me a fanfic where my PC ends up happily ever after with dog and buddies and we all lived in the castle forever making pies and drinking beer...

I believe if he did it would involve The Fade.  Recall what happened with a certain male character in The Calling and his love, no?

Or perhaps Fridays make me cynical.  *ponders*

EDIT:  Seriously, if the Sloth demon had offered Alistair and all my buddies along with Duncan, I might not have made it out of the tower.  Image IPB

I don't think it works like that.

Erm, except...  You (or Alistair or Benedict Loghain) still die.

Anyway, wow, you didn't even have to offer a pony.

I might use my old (Death Hand) avatar if it weren't for the resolution issues.

I think Hawkeyed's new avatar is vastly superior.

Obviously Sloth don't know us as well. Maybe he was just too lazy to create an alternative reality for a few of the craziest fans.

I'd love to see a write-up by Mr. Gaider regarding the different choices in the game and what thought processes he was going for with having the player choose them, like what emotions he wanted to evoke and what making certain choices says about the Player Character. I know that such a thing would be too expansive and bothersome to actually do, but I admit that I'm fascinated by the motivations behind putting certain choices in the game.

No, that's not going to happen. There's enough second-guessing going on around here as it is, and I've resolved reading less of it to avoid getting pissy about it. Let the people who think they know better go on as is their wont. Not that I'm saying *you* would do this, but in the end that kind of dissection of the ending isn't likely to do what you or I would want it to. The ending speaks for itself.

I am happy to pay my share, like in the form of buying a sequel that permits my character(s) to learn via struggles and challenges what became of Morrigan. I have high hopes in that field.

Fair enough.  Everyone will have their own interpretation of things.  I just wonder from a design perspective and what kind of buttons you want to press, but I definitely understand not wanting to go there!

I do hope the haters don't make you too pissy, though.  You all did a great job, no doubt about that :)

That's really a shame. Personally I love to get a behind the scenes look into how a game I liked was made. It's like watching the director's commentary in a movie. I can understand your reluctance to take the public flak which would inevitably come with such commentary though.

Very epic indeed. Although I would have preferred to know whether or not Morrigan has the ability to turn into a nug.
