Going hard mode with a team of Aveline, Merrill & Isabella.
My question here is: if hawke goes BM, is it a waste to go to SH because the 2 mages can not benefit from healing aura any more?
With Isabella in the team and her lacking of bursting power, is it enough to go with just a few creation spells and single haste buff?

What do you mean by no Bursting power. Isabela can get Twin Fangs one of the best bursting damage talents. Maybe you can wait and get Isabela in Act two when her tree is more filled out.

I would. I'm running a Force Mage/Blood Mage on Nightmare right now, and I taught Hawke Heal, Heroic Aura and Haste. In Nightmare though, I don't have that much time to heal while not casting offensive spells. Same thing on Hard, IMO.

That's compared to a PC hawke (my first playthrough is a DW rogue). It seems to me that Isabella has no CCC power at all.
