If you wanted to integrate the frame narrative thing in, for consistentcy, how else would you do it? (Not being confrontational, just interested in how else it could be handled and too early in the morning to think up a line myself.)
Note that I haven't seen the video (and won't ever see it), so I don't have much context beyond the paraphrase that was posted. If it's just her typical "tell me what happened" interrogation, I personally wouldn't do it at all. There's no need for a statement like that, just like there's no need for her to preface any of her other questions with nonsense.
The player is already engaging in or has just finished the content additions.
That is your lead-in. She's talking about it
because you just did it (or are just about to do it). As for where to slot it in, she doesn't need to start lobbing cliches just to open a new line of questioning. "And what about...", three simple words that don't imply any imagery, don't force a specific timeline (if you just received a report, it likely happened recently, meaning you're questioning him... while he's in my party? and if it didn't happen recently, what on earth reason would I have to care that you just got the report now?), and don't make her sound like a bad television drama series robot cop. *Whir* *Click* "Mmm. Report received." *Click* "Mmp. Report acknowledged." *Whir* *Sputter* "Mmn. Interrogation started."
