Are you still answering questions devs?

Can we expect to gain levels in this DLC? If so, how many? Put another way, if, without the DLC, we can expect to reach level 26-7 reasonably by the end of the game, what can we expect to reach with the DLC, as a completionist?

Or has this already been answered?

Answering questions on the weekend?! The madness! :o

If I were to wager a guess I would say 2-3 levels would be common. I think the last time I did it I went in at 25 and a bit and came out at 28.

Will we get a new patch prior to the new DLC?

@Luke Barrett That sounds like a decent amount of xp.

@devSin I think you're making a fair point. And I get the (perhaps not so brilliant) cop show association. But, although you probably could just have Cassandra going, "Now tell me about ...." it may actually need some kind of obvious, "Stop, now we're doing this instead" kind of dialogue, in an "add-in DLC" kind of a context. Her other dialogue is more sequential. (And she is talking to Varric after the fact, so I think it works OK timeline-wise.)

Still, I think it would have been cool if Casandra had punched Varric across the face and yelled something like, "Stop rambling. I'll tell you what I want to hear."

But, it's really not that kind of interrogation. To me, Cassandra came across as threatening to start with, but quite sad/worried by the end. Maybe there is a reason for her not being really cruel, like they need to keep open the idea that she could be a "good guy." I dunno.

And why not? That's the time of the week when most of us have the most time to ask questions anyway. :P

Just one question, is there a chance that there will be a 1.03b patch with the DLC release (or at least soon after) that just fixes the Sunder bug? Since it's a little bit irritating and I wouldn't play the DLC with a party that contains any 2H character if there is still the bug.:?

Will we get a new patch, ever?

Well, since you said 'ever' I can definitely say yes. When that occurs will largely be based on how smoothly the DLC launch goes. Unfortunately, due to the way patches work on consoles we can't just release fixes to small issues whenever we want (which is why our first two patches were so large).

Do choices in DAO/DAA have any impact on the  Legacy story (Amell Warden, Architect alive or dead, etc.)?  I'm hoping none of the bugged decisions have an impact.

As far as I know there isn't any DAO plotflags pulled in. Now, I could be wrong as I know there is some special Anders dialogue but I don't think* it requires any plotflag checks.

However, the flags set during Legacy will definitely be used later. The whole DLC has some pretty hefty significance for our good buddy The Champion of Kirkwall

You have no idea how happy you have just made me by saying that Hawke can make a choice and not have the same end result shoved down his throat.

Hawke is going to be more than an ass following a carrot? Be careful BioWare, you might regain some fans.

I wish there was a better introduction to the DLC. We're just told, not shown that the Carta has been going after the Hawkes. It's a minor problem, but still a problem.

That's one of Bioware's biggest problems in the DA series. They tell but don't show.

It is a problem but like many of the other big problems with the DA2 and the series in general, probably wont be fixed with DLC, an expansion pack however might. But most likely we will have to wait for DA3

Watching the playthrough I was thinking how awesome it would have been to see Carver get surprise attacked in the Gallows and see how that went down. Or a cutscene of Hawke leaving the hanged man and getting jumped by Carta thugs and complaining "This is the third time this week! What gives?" or something

But then I'm one of those weird people that likes cutscenes.

And can Sebby be used in it?

I didn't find anything spoilery. It just shows the very first area of the Vinmark Mountains with Carver, Varric, and Anders in the party.

And yes, it has been stated that Seb can follow you on this quest.

I don't know whether this has been asked before so here goes nothing. Is Legacy in some way connected to future DLC? Is it part of a larger story?

EDIT: You know, much like DA2 is broken into three acts, perhaps Legacy is a self-contained unit that develops across multiple installments?

Can't really answer that without giving too much away. Feel free to ask again after it has been released :bandit:

Give Luke has already said that there are plot flags from Legacy that will be carried forward for something in the future I'd say that was....... well a given.

That's quite an assumption before you even know what Legacy is really about. Saying that the flags will be used in the future does not necessarily mean they will be used right away or that it's part of some larger story...though it doesn't really mean the contrary either. :P

So is more DLC in the pipeline or does that depend on how well Legacy does?

Also if there will be new content after Legacy, could we expect it to come out at a faster rate or may we have to wait another 4 months?

We storyboarded this, actually, and came up with some different ways of doing it. A couple of things got in the way, unfortunately, including some engine limitations (it's very, very difficult to create a new scene in an existing area without forcing the user to redownload a new version and bloating the filesize of the DLC). But yeah, it's something we would've liked to do.
