Will your chosen romance companion have additional dialogue?
I wanted to know that, as well. Another question that I just remembered is how is Bethany allowed out of the circle? Carver as a templar I can kinda see, and either of them as Wardens I can see, but the only way I can think to get Bethany out would be to sneak her out.

Will Legacy be available for purchase and download through Origin?
At the moment we still only have the DA full games on Origin. We're talking to that team to see whether we can bring DLC to it - it would not be there for launch on the 26th though.
Thanks for the quick reply. Hope to see all BioWare content on Origin, its been a solid service so far and no more need for points.

Yay! Questions! Ok....
1) So if Varric and Anders have dialogue because they are tied to what's going on, do the others have dialogue?
I think they've said before that all the companions have additional dialogue.

Yes, all companions have new dialogue. The reason Anders and Varric were mentioned is that they have 'special' ties to certain elements of the DLC (aka. make sure you play through once with each of them to check that out). Hope that answers the question enough without giving too much away.

- As Fernando mentioned in the live demo, it is definitely longer than all the DAO DLC (excluding the retail expansion, obviously). If I were to take a guess I would say the average first playthrough is going to be about 3 hours - now, you can rush through and finish it faster but you'll miss a lot. If you're playing on Nightmare and you're sitting at around level 26+ it may take you a very long time to do a completionist pass successfully
- I believe Post-Campaign save has all your companions equipped with whatever they had for the final battle. And yes, this makes very little sense but gameplay wise it would be odd not to have those items
- As far as when the 'best time' to enter the DLC is that all depends on the player and what they enjoy more of. Though, I will caution you from going straight in to the DLC when you first enter Kirkwall - it's deadly difficulty when you're level 5. Nothing stopping you from doing this mind you. [jacob]Heavy risk...but the prize[/jacob]
- The dagger is a single dagger, you can wield it offhand or mainhand if you prefer. As to having a second one... I don't see that appearing any time soon unless you get someone to make a mod for you.

A painful experience, but the prize? I'm here to revoke your meme quoting card, Luke.

I have a level 12 Hawke in ACT One that has not completed the Deep Roads. I figure that will be first Hawke I use.

There are no new romance specific conversation scenes with your companion. But as part of party banter Legacy does recognize your romance - and I recall in at least one case when playing through, it had a surprise in store during party banter in this regard when my Hawke had no one romanced.

Soooooooooo..........might I suggest the next DLC?
The LI DLC. With lots of romance based dialogue/quests/RPGing etc?
No?
Dammit. I was so sure that would work!

Wow, I'm actually pleasantly surprised it'll get a mention even in banter. There really does sound like quite a bit of companion interaction, which makes me one super happy panda. I know the romances aren't a big deal to everyone, but they're one of those things that help individualize characters and provide an emotional hook for many players. So anytime the game reaches out and acknowledges choices the player makes on an emotional level is a big plus for me.
I was already excited for Legacy. Now I'm wishing I had a Tardis to get to the 26th already.

This is something I always wanted to see. Not a specific LI focused one, like Shadow Broker. But more specifically a plotline where the hero has to attend an event (say a ball) in which he can bring a companion along as a date. The social situation would be a backdrop for something substantially more adventurous, but there would be plenty of banter between you and your 'date' as you dance and fight your way through the storyline.
It would of course have to include a comedic Barrett/Mordin option for the player who's not romanicing anyone.

I'd buy it just for Mordin.

Having work done on my house so this DLC will be a nice diversion from the insanity.

I support this completely. It'd be a fun/different way to introduce a campaign. How much more fun would the Kasumi DLC have been if you could have brought your LI or another squat mate with you? Even someone you're not romancing might make for a hilarious sidekick, particularly if the mission/quest calls that you act like LIs. So much more can be done with this medium outside of dungeon crawls.
DA2 got close with Aveline's Act 2 quest (which is one of my favorite parts in the game). Now let the player be the one having some of those fantastically awkward conversations.
