Can't activate ME2 DLC

Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue I can't seem to solve by myself or find the answer on the forums, so I'll try asking for some help.
How exactly do I activate the DLC for Mass Effect 2 once I redeem a code?
I bought the game and got the "cerberus network activation" thing. I activated it as soon as I installed the game, but I never got anything from it. I can login into my account in the game, but that's it. I've beat the game already and there was no sign of Zaeed at all. When I click the "New Content Available" option in the in-game menu, I go to a page saying:

BioWare checkout
Your order: Mass Effect 2: Genesis

You do not have enough funds to complete this purchase.

But I never ordered this, I don't want this, and I can't figure out how to cancel this so I can get the real content I'm supposed to.
I didn't get the Blood Dragon armor from DA: Origins either. I played it last year and I had redeemed the code already, and I'm using the same account for ME2, but I didn't get the armor.
If I try to redeem the codes again (for Cerberus Network and for the Blood Dragon armor), it says the code has already been redeemed (which is true, I just didn't get anything).

Can anyone help me solve this? I want my stuff. :(

Oh... I just found out the answer.
So if anyone else has this problem, look here:
http://support.ea.co...ct 2 promo code

You need to come here at social.bioware.com and then Profile > Your registered game promotions. And then download the files. I thought it would be automatic, just go to the game menu like The Stone Prisoner in DAO.

Sorry for the newb thread.
I wish Tali was here to solve this kind of thing... :(

There is a Tech FAQ stickied at the top of the forum specifically to answer these sorts of questions.

Man, I gotta read those stickies sometime. Maybe, if EA would make these things clearer, folks wouldn't have so many problems getting them.

Too many times, things that should be obvious, require hours of searching and poking and discovering. Life shouldn't be like a game of DAII (monotonous, repetitive, frantic flailing about). I blame EA (and BioWare by default) for making this so difficult. I love these forums for the helpful (pertinent) help I get.

Thanks, dude, I've been missing out. I think this is going to fix it.

My DLC link ingame just takes me to the final checkout point (I think it's for Genesis) and tells me I don't have enough points to complete the transaction.  Didn't pick Genesis, don't want Genesis, not sure how I wound up there anyhow.  Hopefully this set of helpful tricks will help fix that.  Don't have access to my desktop atm to try it.  Later.

I'm hopeful, though, because there's a huge long list of stuff I've been wondering where it'd all gotten off to...right there.  Amazing.  Thought I'd lost all that stuff in system crashes, reformats, server hacks, etc.  Thanks for the tips, guys.

Lol yeah, I thought I'd lost it to some crash too. I actually finished the whole game without activating anything I had. And I had a lot of things waiting to be downloaded. :/
Now I'm going on a second playthrough with different stuff (now I'm female, different class, Renegade instead of Paragon, etc) and I'm finally using the extra content. Zaeed and Kasumi (bought her separetly) rock!

Edit: And btw I agree DA II was kinda boring.
