The fact that I need to run the game as an administrator is crap, but okay. I got used to that . The game also wouldn't let me install Witch Hunt, so I got the files myself. I'm not sure what you mean by install it in the menu of the game itself. It should install into the game directory.
Edited to add: Solutions round up and Read first threads are pinned to the top for a reason. They might help.

I deleted the file it tried to install and now it just says 'download failed' and it doesn't try anything else. I'm good with that
