Anyone else notice they are basically reskins of existing weapons?
N7 shotgun - Eviscerator
N7 Sniper - Incisor
N7 submachine gun - Locust
N7 pistol - Phalanx

I was a lot more worried about the weapons while people were freaking out about Ashley's armor situation. Hope they look different.

Your right though and im glad its just a placeholder.  If your getting some new guns you want them to be new and not just a re-skin of exisisting guns with tiny differences to their model.   Of course im sure their stats will be different to, but im far more interested in the appearance.   Exclusive N7 weapons are meant to sound awesome, so the look needs to match it.  Putting an N7 logo on a gun doesnt quite work...

I can live with that. Though I do hope that the N7 pistol does collapse unlike the Phalanx.

Seems a little lacklustre though to simply reskin existing DLC weapons. Especially when the ME2 DLC was quite creative in the means of the collector assault rifle. That was really unique looking. Yes I know theres three weapons here though, so maybe they dont have time to create something ground up again.

Havent read anything confirming it being a place holder though and got that from above. However im fairly sure that when Chris stated that the alternative appearance packs on the CE weren't finalised he also said it went for other things on there to, but never went into details. Maybe where the placeholder impression is coming from.

That seems like the common reaction for people on this site. Just use common sense...they're going to use different models.
