Yay, the Grunt thread's back!

Grunt threads never die. They just go MIA.B) Oh yea, I went there. I just referenced Halo.

I wonder who would win in a fight, a Grunt or Master Chief?

Chief. Hate to say it, but the Chief would rip him to shreds.

I'm going with Grunt, Mass Effect technology is better, only way I see Grunt losing is if Chief gets the drop on Grunt if he isn't being led buy Shepard. To be honest though I'd rather see a fight between Shepard and Chief because the fight would be more comparable. I'll admit to being bias towards Mass Effect right now

I want Wrex back. He was like a brother to me. Grunt was like a step son I didn't want.

Support Grunt because Wrex isn't coming back as a permanent squad mate. He has to lead the krogran.

Well, the Chief is strong enough to kill Grunt or Shepard even outside of his suit. Just give Chief a plasma rifle so he can strip through shields and the tech would be considered even.

2183 technology is better than 2552 technology? Good luck with that.

Mass Effect is a different fiction so you cant use timeline, I feel like I shouldn't even have to explain that to someone who is supposed to be a Mass Effect fan. And Chief can lose in a melee fight to a brute in his suit so I don't see how he would beat a krogan without his suit. Should he win that fight it would be due to superior training. Spartans in Mjolnir armor weigh approximately half a ton depending on which Halo lore you are going off of while an adult krogan in a full suit of armor weighs roughly a ton, and the realization I'm talking about completely fictional things just sank in

Read this in the "ME3: Known Features" thread - not sure where the source is from, but it sounds mighty promising:

Phaedon wrote...

Features:

  •  The Predator is improved and returning
  • There are some new heavy weapons though the pool has been slimmed down a bit.
  • The Atlas' health does not regenerate when you use it.
  • When there is no enemy in sight, squadmates aim their weapons towards the ground.
  • The Marauder is an enemy creature.
  • Grunt is back and has his good moments.
  • PC version supports double click and scrolling.
  • Heavy weapons don't support weapon modding.
  • Melee attack statistical progression has to do with ability level-up, not weapon customization.

:)

w00t! we got some Grunt news, hopefully this means he's part of the core squad. It makes a lot of sense for him to be a part of it.

I support Grunt as a permanent squad mate in ME3! I also support Grunt as a femshep romance!!!
Grunt is what makes the game for me, don't get me wrong the entire game is nothing less than epic but Grunt is what draws me back for more <3 A grunt romance would be the best thing since sliced bread :)
Here are some of my pics, gotta spread the Grunt love around!!

I don't know about having Grunt as a Romance, but if that's what it takes to get him into ME3, then by all means, demand it.

Well, if i had to choose between Wrex and Grunt, then i´d choose Wrex. Shepard. Wrex Shepard Wrex. Shepard.
...
For that ^ and 3 other reasons:
Wrex is a vanguard and biotics are cool.
Wrex is a krogan.
Wrex is a biotic and a krogan which is cool and rare.
Wrex is a more likelier romance option than Grunt, because he´s older.
Wrex was in ME1.
Wrex has more of a backstory. Grunt has almost none.

But because no-squaddie-Wrex for ME3, i´ve moved on to fight for Grunt as squaddie in ME3.
Like quite a few people surely have.
