From the beginning Grunt was one of only two squad mates I was really hoping would return. Sadly, I'm about ready to give up on the prospect of Grunt as a core squad member. We now have two soldiers confirmed, one of which is designed to be a tank, so I highly doubt they'll make room for one more. I suppose I'll just have to settle for whatever the Grunt cameo ends up being.

thats my exact fear, all my friends say that its impossible to have a mass effect game without a krogan squadmate but I'm skeptical with how they are claiming to be refining the team size and because alot of it may be human affairs with Earth being attacked and all, it is worth pointing out that had you killed Ash on Virmire which I did, you've only got one determined soldier so if he was say rifles/snipers and your krogan was shotties/snipers they would still be different tanks

As a matter of fact I'm also one of the few players who saved kaidan instead of Ash so at present I'll only have one soldier.  Unfortunately it's pretty well known that you and I are in the minority, most will have both Ash and Vega.

 I think the arguement that you can't have a Mass Effect game without a Krogan squade mate may still be valid though.  I've been toying around with the idea that Grunt may be reintroduced as a new class.  Perhaps he'll have spent some time studying with his kind on Tuchanka and become a battle master so he could come back as a Vanguard, a class the ME3 squad is still lacking at the moment.

It seems that, I, too, am in the minority (I can't bring myself to save Ash, simply because most of my chars are female and in romance with Kaidan).

I would like Grunt to come back. But I doubt that he'd be all THAT different in 2 month's time.

I'm not so much a purely Grunt supporter as I am a krogan supporter, though I do think Grunt is the best choice as his perfect krogan story could be built on, but essentially I nuked Ashley over Kaidan because she wanted to kill Wrex who was vital in my stopping Saren

Grunt= Badass. But seriously I want to see him come back, especially as Wrex is only a cameo (if you saved him) for ME 3. So, we need Grunt to follow his battlemaster.

Well, seeing as Jack is pretty much all but confirmed for a full/semi permanent, i wish we´d get more badasses to our squad, rather than just a few ******, e.g. Kaidan, Liara and Tali.

Btw, Does anyone have a renegade character, who chose the "Grunt belongs to me"-renegade option in the dialog with Uvenk? I did that and Grunt got a clean white loyalty-armor...?

That line has no effect as to whether or not Grunt becomes loyal to you when you complete his LM - it just makes Shepard look like a total @ss.

Skyrim melted my brain from it's awesomeness I just finally beat the main storyline. Oh well, back to fighting the good fight in Grunt's honor!

ME3 demo is coming out soon maybe we will get to see grunt fighting off a lot of husks with wrex and it will be badass if it shows them

I really hope Bioware's quietness on Grunt means that he'll be a surprise squaddie. Every ME game needs a Krogan squaddie!

 I would be extremely upset if grunt wasnt able to be your squad member. Ya Wrex is cool but grunt is a super soldier that was made to kick ass and i really hope that you can have him!

Sadly nope grunt isnt seen in the demo but March 6 is close by so we shall find out.

i heard that grunt gets his good moments i didnt dare look at the leak and mabye just mabye grunt is a suprise squaddie because there is really no place for to go since shepards his battlemaster

If Wrex is too busy with the rest of his krogan, then yes, I support Grunt
