Just played the mission with [spoiler warning] Grunt's team taking on the husk-ified rachni, and goddammit that was the most badass thing I've seen from Mass Effect. I was completely expecting to lose Grunt in order to save the rachni queen, and I was on the verge of manly tears watching him go down. BUT HE LIVED! Sorry Shep, Grunt just 1 upped you walking out of the wreckage on the Citadel in ME1...

So... I saved the Rachni Queen in ME 1.

And I'm ME3 it took me 10mins to decide if I wanted to try and keep her alive or save Grunt. But I knew in the end I had to save him.

I guess it was one of the best decision I made in ME3! Grunt is just so... Wrex-like. Reminds me the good old days.

hehe I know.. I was jsut impressed to realize I got that attached to Grunt after all. since I got no problem to reach the synthesis ending, the extra war asset dont really matter. It was nice figuring out Grunt was someone my FemShep could rely on and the Rachni queen was just a source of trouble.

That was the best e-mail in the game.  Grunt is the best character ever in Mass Effect, I was hoping he'd get the chance to rip a Reaper apart but the scene with the Rachni was well worth it.

Well, we didn't get Grunt as a squadmate, but he clearly had the best ME2 squadmate reunion in ME3! Our little headbutting death machine is all grown up.

Grunt's spelling is a bit off in his extranet searches (viewable here: http://masseffect.wi..._Dossiers/Grunt), but nowhere nearly as bad as in the e-mail. Then again, ryncol can hit aliens like ground glass, so I imagine baby krogan don't take it too well either
