I'm 99% sure Grunt's going to return. I'd be highly disappointed if he didn't. While he's not as cool as Wrex, he's still one of my favorite characters in the ME series.

Does anyone else want a Grunt/Zaeed co-op game that's like a buddy cop movie? :P

Grunt MUST return. There are more than one reason for him to return. First and the most obvious one: Shepard is his Battlemaster. Second: There must be a permanent krogan squadmate in every Mass Effect game, since Wrex is unavailable, Grunt should be the one. Third(my oppinion): Grunt is the most loyal Squadmate. He supports Shepard in every case. Fourth: He is like a son to Shepard.

QFT. But I remember one of the krogan (forgot his name) asked to bring Grunt back after the SM, so bioware could use that as an excuse. But honestly my Shepard would never give up Grunt.

Haha I love Grunt! His dialogue is just so great and simple.

Mordin: Can smell antiseptic, hint of dead flesh.
Grunt: Just get us there.

Kasumi: What are the odds that elevator's going to come down empty?
Grunt: We should get behind... stuff.

Grunt: Let's get to the drive core! I want to rip it out with my teeth!

LOVE GRUNT! *fistbumps* Humans talk too much. Like the tank. Come back later.

Reaper IFF
Grunt: Let's get to the drive core! I want to rip it out with my teeth!
but WHO was the other squad mate? I've taken, Garrus, Jack, Jacob, Thane, Zaeed, & maybe some others, but I've never had Grunt speak that line.

Grunt is a man's man without being a man!

That's enough reason for me.

Grunt is the ultimate Krogan soldier.  He is even more badass than Wrex, and furthermore Wrex is currently leading Tuchanka... or dead.

If ME3 has a krogan (and it will), it needs to be Grunt.  There can be no other.

Grunt is a badass, I really hope he's coming back in ME3.

Unfortunately he wasn't like that.  I was expecting Grunt to ignore orders and start shooting and charging in without being told to, but he pretty much did exactly as he was told from what I saw in my multiple playthroughs.

Now he was still a badass, and in combat he was a juggernaut, charging in like a real krogan and being able to withstand incredible amounts of firepower.

He does that because Wrex wants to be the perfect Krogan.

That was the Urdnot Shaman, if i recall correctly - he sent an email to Shepard after Grunt's LM (among other things, he also said that if Shepard died from his current mission then he'd ****** on Shepard's grave )

All I can say is, I need Grunt to be back on my team for ME3.... I don't want some human meat-tank like James Vega on my squad, I want my krogan meat-tank fighting along with his Battlemaster. :D

With a focus on melee and close combat fighting, maybe grunt could use one.

I'd prefer to have Wrex on the squad, but since that isn't going to happen Grunt is a must. Actually the best case scenario would be to have both of them on the squad.

I think Grunt COULD leave his squad to return to Tuchanka and help Wrex to reunite the krogans because of he his the perfect krogan ( That's why the Urdnot Shaman wants him to return ) ...
It could be good to see Wrex return as a permanent squaddie because the krogans wanted Grunt as their chief ... but I would prefer to have Grunt as a perma squadmate for ME3 cuz I want to see him killing scions , husks and Cerberus operatives ;)
