We already have Vega as a tank. we don't need Grunt.

As Grunt would say.... HA!

Seriously, if I don't get Grunt back on my squad (or even, dare i say, Wrex) and BW forces some human "newbie" as my squad's tank, I'm gonna be more than a little miffed <_< how can you have the epic finale of Shepard's story without a Krogan on his/her crew?

It's true we need to be more active ....
Look at Miranda's fan thread, there is more than 280 pages in her topic ...
Or the Vega support thread ... approximatively 90 pages .......
Now let's take a look over Grunt's topic , 7 pages.

Let's tell the truth right now, A LOT of people LOVES Grunt ... not as a character, someone who debates a lot with shepard or someone implicated a lot in the plot like wrew was.in ME1 ( remember Virmire ) . They love him as a soldier ... in the battlefield ... with his AR, Claymore and his krogan charge.
We need the participation of this part of the mass.effect.community in the thread . This is my. opinion. ( sorry for my grammar, i'm using my phone and english isn't my native language ).
Thank,you all !

For a second there, I thought the title said "Grunt for Pregnant ME3 squad member".

The horror.

Maybe Grunt can nail the Krogan Princess if Wrex doesn't want to. Our big boy is finally growing up:wub:

I know right, even Jacob has a bigger support thread and Bioware went out of there way to say Jacob wasn't very popular.

Grunt is the best of all the squadmates.

I mean come on, which other squadmate refers to you as his Battle Master? You're like his mentor! It's a shame he's not more popular, because he should be.

I can't put enough emphasis on how much I want a cutscene of just Grunt and Wrex standing back to back and kicking the ass multiple husks and even a couple of Scions. Just imagine it.

They're in a barren nuclear wasteland on tuchanka surrounded by Krogan husks and Batarian husks. They're both holding a claymore shotgun and then they go beserk. Wrex lifts like 5 of them at once with his biotics while Grunt just fatally charges them and then turns around and shoots other ones. Then a praetorian comes and Wrex pulls it towards them and then Grunt starts charging and jumps onto it's back and starts ripping it apart with his teeth.

I considered myself more his mentor that gave him purpose, but yeah, Grunt holds a special place as a squadmate for me. It's just a shame he may not be a squadmate more due to others having higher popularity.

the weird bit about popularity of characters on the internet and fan feedback in general is how much bioware says they listen to fan feedback and honestly until this recent feeling that I may not get a krogan on my squad I never participated in giving Mass Effect feedback, not that I didn't care but it was so good I had nothing to comment about things I wanted changed really. Also, when I talk to people in real life they actually like krogans but on the internet all people give a damn about are LIs, which I think we already have to many of, if you can romance anyone it ceases to make the other qualities of you shipmates as important. Did anyone else feel Jack, Garrus, and Thane were less interesting if you didn't romance them? Which is a shame for me because I play as a straight male shepard so I can't really see the depth in those characters. I guess where I'm going with this is I'd like to see them developed in other ways, on a side note bioware said the crew will have more friend options and not just romance at comic con so now I really hope we get Grunt
ranty ranty rant, yada yada yoda

I don't know if this is just what I look for but Grunt does seem to have more fan art then other characters so I hope that is an indicator of his popularity

If we keep Grunt in the tank for all of Mass Effect 2 wouldn't we have to get him in Mass Effect 3? unless your crew gets rid of the tank

but I like killing the thresher so fock that idea

"A LOT of people LOVES Grunt ... not as a character" I liked him as a character, he might not have had the most depth but he was obviously at one point in the game dealing with the internal struggles of being tank born and being clanless. There could be some work done with his and Shepard's dynamic in Mass Effect 3 and building up his character. Tellin him to or not to kill salarians :alien:

Hey guys, would I get modded if I went to other thread and asked people to come to this thread to show support for Grunt.

Anyways, I really hope bioware doesn't judge grunt based on this thread. Most other threads are popular because they're about LI's.

The thing we should is to bring a lot of peoples here ... maybe write a link to this thread.on the signature of all.the forums we.visit or go in an active mass effect forum and create a new topic about this thread ...
I like this idea only if we.don't spam... the fact is that.I dunno if it will suffice...

Here's a funny video of squadmates commenting on Grunt going through puberty. Garrus's comment is the best.
