So I went to finally get the Awakening expansion.  Finding it has been a chore in itself, as everwhere local only carries the Ultimate Edition now, for $30.  I already have the original game so I don't need this.  So I went online to look for a copy.  Amazon has a hard copy - $20.  EA store download only - $30.  Even the store's Ultimate Edition - $24...Has anyone else noticed this.  Or am I missing something?

Bioware, I'd really like to buy the expansion, but you might want to fix your pricing structure.

If you're looking for the PC version of the add-on, I'm not sure if they sell the Awakening add-on sigularly. I think you're stumbling across games that are both DA:O and DA:A, which will be more expensive. Try looking only for Dragon Age: Awakening on Amazon or E-Bay.

If you're looking for Xbox360, it is available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for (I think) 1200 or 1300 points. This translates to (roughly) $15.

As for PS3, I have no clue.

Well you do save money on the ultimate edition since it includes all the DLC.

I have noticed this price incongruity as well at Best Buy and Microcenter. Best to just get the Ultimate Edition (not sure how smooth that install is with with original game though).

Its only £9.99 in game, and Ultimate Edition is £19.99. There only is so stupid though, DA:O alone is £39.99, they have priced Ultimate Edition for download cheaper than it is for Origins
