Yes. Also everyone know true romance is between Shepard and gun.

"I call her Jessie..."

Jessie (A Love Story) - Zaeed Massani

"That rifle is older than you are!"???? A gun that uses thermal clips??!! Really?! Either Zaeed's going senile or the addition of thermal clips were a downgrade to "older" technology rather than an upgrade.

Spectres can do anything with no legal repercussions, that's a taken.

But it's moral repercussions I'm talking about. No special treatment in this regard.

Oh, err...I'm not sure what you mean by "moral repercussions".

Karma and guilt. Pretty much being a dirtbag.

Oh. Well, I guess I'll refer to this video again.

Well the military prohibits it for the same reason that the Marines dont let women serve major combat roles. The C.O. "Commanding Officer" may feel obligated to sacrifice the mission due to his/her protective instinct and love for the LI in question. In Sheps case that law still applies and as many of you have learned from Virmire, its tough to choose. I kept Ash next to the bomb in case i had to save the mission. Most of us didnt do that but still chose to save our LI regardless of the possibility that Saren could disarm the bomb. (which we already know he didnt) It is a possibility that this could become a moral issue somewhere down the line and thats why there are regulations against this sort of thing. Sure, people still break this rule frequently and as far as i'm concerned it is a realistic idea.

Not really, since being reborn doesn't hurt anybody. If you were reborn at someone else's life however, it's different.
