I've noticed that sometimes that immediately after a very large battle, my game will slow down to the point where it is impossible to get anything done and I have to load and do the fight again.  This can happen walking around after the battle, or during dialogue that may occur after the battle. 

Usually trying again fixes it, but  i am trying to play a mage now and it happened after killing the rage demon in the Harrowing while talking to Mouse afterward, and it happens everytime I try again.  The game slows down so the images can't keep up with the talking, and it takes a very long time to reach the next dialouge option. 

I tried turning down the graphics settings to almost the bottom and it did not slow down quite as fast, but it still did, and eventually the screen went black anyway and the game froze.  The game runs excellently except for these occasional, really annoying slowdowns.  Anyone know what might be wrong?
