I have had some HDD probs with my PC, and it looks like I am not too far off having some more. I have also had some trouble with DLC (I still don't have Shale) it took a while to get my blood armor so I am wondering what can I do to protect my blood armor, and also the file and its location so if I end up buying a new system potentially in the next 6 months I can either restart with the DLC, or resume with the DLC.
Any pointers for getting Shale would be good too.

Links to the dazip files for all of the DLC can be found on the Dragon Age wiki. Note that DLC that requires authorization will still check for that authorization, but it does offer a place to download DLC as a standalone that isn't available that way from the BW site.
