It is supposedto be a duel - a sort of proving test before things can go forward. ANything short of forcing the companioninto a room out of sight would be ideal. I have tried to arrange the separation by using getnext rostermember but it isnt working. any kind of code clues would be appreciated or a method of segregation that doeant involve putting the companionin a cage.

some pasudo code might help those more apt at this sort oft thing:

PC clicks a throne
amessage booms and says the worthy can earn a gift of knowledge and power - but they must prove themself alone

GetNexRosterMember(oPC) doesnt seem to do the trick - or at least the way I'm trying the size of the party can vary depending on the chain of events that lead to this point.

The fight is going to be a tough one for a one on one with the main PC - but doable.

any help would be great.

iirc, the Ice Troll Beserker Lodge initiation in MotB requires a one on one fight.

Aren't the scripts and includes beginning with K usually in the official campaign modules?

When I wanted to use the death and dying scripts from the first OC (rather than the infinite respawns of a typical module), I had to export them from the OC modules. The same was true of the Okku/OOM equipment checking script that I used for the non-humanoid companions in Dragonglade (so you couldn't equip them with boots, cloaks, etc). All those scripts began with K.

no dice - kinc_companion is not in any of the script zips - ah nvm - it was in the campaign folders - for some reason the toolset does not look there.
