Pretty neat. I've always envisioned the Quarians looking a bit like the Protoss, having gracile features and all.

I was thinking actually, I like the sketch and the 3d model, but there was something else...

Spent quite some time looking at the sketch on paper, and there was a thought scratching at the back of my head...
Then I finally realized it, we should have known: after all the Protheans are more or less space-Illithid...

Maybe Quarians are actually...

If I'm not mistaken these are Gythianki and Gythzerai from DnD series(Planescape) while cool races on their own rights,I doubt that the Mass Effect theme would blatanly copy something so obvious.


Edit after reading the Space Ilithid part.I think these are tubes not tentacles

what kind of mammal, turians had a eagle. rachni and krogan a bug ( beatle).

What animal best represents the quarians? i think personaly a reptile as skin but not behavior.

don't love it. awesome work tho dude. it's a bit more alien than I imagine them looking. for me I've always picture Tali looking like Vietnamese/Asari hybrid but with a pointy nose lol.
