Some things are bugging me.

The ritual will allow the Wardens to live by luring the archdemon's soul into the child. The child has to be conceived with a Grey Warden who's not been tainted for long, BUT the child needs to be tainted to attract the archdemon.
The Warden kills the archdemon, the Old God's soul is free and untainted and it mergers with the baby without killing him. All nice and great.

The child, however, while not a darkspawn, is still tainted. Partially tainted body + untainted soul. Wouldn't it cause the soul to be corrupted again, eventually? Like what happens to the Grey Wardens once they start hearing the Calling?
Unless the ritual includes some way of preserving the child from the corruption.

Wouldn't the Darkspawn still hear the voice of the Old God, and seek the child?

And finally, if the essence immediately seeks the purest vessel, why is a Warden still required to kill the Archdemon?

The child won't be tainted. The archdemon's soul going into the child is supposed to nullify the taint, effectively curing both the Old God and the Morri-spawn.

Can it be corrupted again? We don't know. People have theorised that if it's an Old God the darkspawn will be drawn to it the same as any other Old God, but these are just theories.

And to your last question, a Warden probably isn't required, once the Dark Ritual is involved. :P But no one else is awesome enough.

I think I remember Gaider writing something about the soul having to pass through a Warden and then be pulled to the child. What I missed is that the child won't be tainted after the soul merging.

I wonder how Morrigan (well, Flemeth) knew about all that. Not even the Grey Wardens have much knowledge of the nature of the taint.

Many think that Flemeth is somehow connected to the old gods or something. Its obvious there is more to her than we believe. Even Morrigan mentions something like this in the end of witch hunt: "She is no blood mage, no abomination, she is not even truly human".

And it's interesting that she takes the shape of a high dragon. I doubt she's an Old God herself, but she definitely has a big role here.
