I've just realised this thread is about important characters we'd like to see killed and we've been saying Hawke.

Considering he's completely ineffectual that doesn't quite work.

Both. Hawke is awful, kill it with fire.

The best possible scenario is that we see an well done cinematic detailing Hawkes extremely gruesome and painful death, following that we see Merril accidentally killing herself as she tries to resurrect Hawke with blood magic, and failing.

Or just have him die of an extremely embarrassing STD. I would be satisfied either way.

Flemeth. I have the feeling we'll end up being told everything the various PCs do is simply part of her masterplan, and that would be incredibly lame.

And all she does is deliver deus ex machinas using her apparently unmatched and ill defined powers.

Why do people hate Hawke so much? Being unimportant and un-proactive is a flaw in the writing/design and not something you should hate the PC itself for.

But whatever. If venting your frustrations off with an irrational hatred for a fictional character gets you off, that's fine.

Hawke must die a painful death and be separated in as many pieces possible before his/her remanins are consigned to a mop.

Merril's death is reserved for my Warden. It will be many days before she's released to the afterlife.

Fenris is below my notice - it won't be long before he overdoses on some happy pills and rids us of his mage complex.

Ander's will probably throw himself on a Blade and wonder where the Warden was.

Isabella will most likely die to disease that a certain ointment did not resolve.

Sebastion has to be killed so I can hear " MAKER NOOOOOOOOOOO" as he chokes on his own blood.

Both M!Hawke and F!Hawke suck pretty hard, but I hate F!Hawke more. That voice literally has me cringing (I like to use youtube videos where she asks Bodahn about the Hero of Ferelden to illustrate this point).

F!Hawke sounds too sultry all the time. It's like she's on the prowl for some hot action whenever she speaks. Then again, seeing as you can hit on all but two of your companions, that's understandable to some degree.

• MERRILL- a pissed off origin fan rats merrill out to the templar as an apostate.  The Templar spend a few hours arguing about whether ot she is a blood mage or an apostate before one of them emails a DEV tosettle the issue.  After six months of waiting for an answer that makes sense, Merrill chokes to death on a bagel.

I'm still giggling five minutes after reading this one. I vote for Merrill if it plays out like this.

Seriously though, Hawke is the only one that really got on my nerves.. Especially FemHawke who managed to make even the angriest of lines sound prissy.

i see no reason why the wardens or any of the main ppl should be killed off. I also see no reason for fenris or merril or the other host of chars to be killed off. I also see no reason for the leader of the Quanri to be killed off. I would like to see life after the darkspawn retreated and what is going on with flemmeth and the child. I would also like to see hawke rule kirkwall with merril or isabela as his queen but I really did not like that there were only 2 women to have a relationship with in DA2. And why the heck does the keeper of the dalish have to be killed off? Couldn't the circle go into the fade to slay demons inhabiting someone?? Ultimately, bioware needs to take time and properly develop a deep and interesting story. Bioware, if you guys are having such a hard time trying to make a good story for the continuation of Dragon Age, I would be much obliged to help.
