I would have voted for Sigrun too. She's one of my favorite characters in the whole Dragon age universe.

I like Oghren, Sigrun and Varric, but I like Varric best. Even though he's not the stereotypical dwarf, he is probably my favorite dwarf NPC in a game. Good coat and crossbow. Like that he calls his brother a son of a ****, looks after Merrill, can hold his own with Isabela, and I like his conflicting attitudes towards his brother.

Sigrun's my favourite dwarf... but of those two I voted Oghren.
Varric was great, and he had plenty of moments, but I never really felt like I earned his respect, it just sort of happened. But Oghren during the Denerim battle after doing his companion quest, felt like a great progression from first meeting him. Then he even went and joined the wardens, helping me clear up the darkspawn when everyone else from Origins went about their own business, that's why he's my dwarf.

Isn't he the guy in Denerim who yells "Dwarven crafts! Fine dwarven crafts!" every time you walk by? Because seriously, after hearing that about a million times during my first playthrough I wanted to tear my ears off.
