i correctly have mass effect 2 downloaded and install through origin just wanted to make sure the patch would work from bioware site with the origin version of mass effect 2 before i downloaded has anyone tried this yet ?

What is the version of thegame as served by Origins? YOu get it from the config utility, under the "Game" section.
If its less than 1.02, then yes, the patch will work.
If its less than 1.02, then yes, the patch will work.

i think it auto update when i installed shadow broker but i was just gonna download it and install it before i got shadow broker just not sure their would be a conflict from origin using the patch from this site since it was a digital version
