I'm againt the idea of Spectres.  No one should be above the law.

But would I mind Shepard, as a person existing?  Nah, my Shepard's a pretty nice guy.

If Shepard was a paragon sure.

Renegade? Hell no.

This^.... Plus there are a few debates (philosophical, etc...) that I would love to drag a paragon Shep into.

Shepard is the most idiotic and sociopathic character I have ever seen in a video game. So no, I would not be comfortable.

I already live with a person like that. ME!

Well, I'm sure you'd be in the slammer if you try to be just like Shep. Or face down in a ditch for getting on the wrong person's bad side.

I cant tell you what I officially do and have done for my country because I would have to kill you.;)

Shepard would be stuck with no enhancements and vastly inferior tech. He would not be a problem.

As long as they were kept well away from positions of power and influence? Sure.

I'm sure someone charasmatic like that will find a way to power. A super version of Napoleon?

Waterloo.

Shep is still mortal. He succeeds, but hes a stray bullet away from game over.... and we have no kinetic barriers or anything like that to protect him. He is only immune to the law because he is a spectre. He wouldn't get the spectre treatment IRL. Would i want a perfectly capable soldier who could get the job done whenever needed? Don't we already have a legion of these? If hes more than that, then I say, yes!
