I've tweaked her face a few times attempting to improve on my original attempt. She is designed as a wise-voiced head-to-toe, through & through, to-the-bone tomboy. Does she look 'finished', or does she need some more tweaking? Trying to figure out how to manage some competent anatomy.

Feedback please.

Anyone? I wanna learn how to make good faces.

Edit: Altered my thread title in case I buggered up at choosing the thread name wisely.

Possibly change the tattoo for one that looks less like eye makeup. or fade it a bit so it's not so strong (although I can understand why she'd want it strong). If you increase the width of the chin (not jaw) by one click that might make her look like more of a tomboy too. Other than that I'd say she looks done.

A tomboy shouldn't be to hard. You definitely have a good start. Just keep the make up either minimum or non-existent, and maybe give her either a masculine or messy hair style.

I'm not to sure about the tattoo, but maybe thats just because it reminds me of the female night elf tattoos from WoW. Maybe one that looks a little more like war-paint? XD

Well keep in mind a "tomboy" is more of an attitude then a representation of actual looks. Honestly I'd say give her a nice feminine facial structure and just keep the makeup off, messier style of hair, and some darker tattoos.

@Balgin Strondraeg: I'll give the chin adjustment a try. I have trouble gauging proportions & whether or not they look right. (Ya'll know what i'm talking about if ya've seen the original version of Alisia or Elocyn. Still on my to-do list to tweak Elocyn, my female dwarf commoner rogue.)

I chose this tattoo because I looked through the choices & it looks to me like the most aggressive & warlike of them all, but it's negotiable, will try tinkering around with it. I'm a tad bummed that none of the tattoo colors look deep red enough, like the red hair is.

@Sylph_14: I thought that tattoo DID look like war-paint, that's why I chose it, but it's negotiable. I don't know squat about WoW, never played it.

@TheMadCat: The hair is negotiable. I was aiming for a short tomboy appearance, but none of them really looked like a match to my vision, so I was kinda guessing on which one to use. I was goin for a short tomboy cut that would look rugged, & maybe country-like/wild, but none fit the quota. This one was at least short & tomboy, but it's a bit neat for my quota, but my options are stuck. I wonder if I should give up on short & settle for the tomboy & rugged? (No chance at all on the Bun-Hair. I'm no fan of Hair-Buns, even on Princess Leia of Star Wars.)

Agree on the make-up. I buggered around with Blush in the original, but didn't like it's effect & dumped it before the above revision. (Blush & tattoo seem to clash rather than compliment, & I like the tattoo way more)

For the tattoo, I wanted a deep bloodlike or firey red, but none were a perfect match even at max intensity, that one in screenshot looks like the closest match. I like the combo of red hair & red eyes, so red tattoo color looked the natural choice for tattoo color. Unsure about changing tattoo color, but will if the current choice stands in the way of success at my character.

I favor Tomboy & Athletic gals over Ladylike gals. Ladylike gals aren't my cup of tea, especially because I think dresses are stupid & i'll never understand the appeal of long fingernails. (Ladylike gals, hate me if ya must.)

I agree that her being a tomboy is more a case of attitude than appearance but in this case, appearance is all Tyrax has got to go with. My suggestions were based on that and the fact that someone with a strong individualist streak is likely to have a distinctive appearance (to reassert their uniqueness).

If you'd consider chnaging the hair I'd recommend one click to the right (the short one with all the little pigtails that almost lok like dreadlocks) or the short high stubby little ponytail at the back.

Alisia Revision:

Chin widened 1 click, Tattoo intensity changed from full power to 1/2 power.

Hair changed to short with rear small stubby ponytail model. (Still need better tomboy options.)

Any improvement?
