Well, a new image have gone online. I definetly think they are the original Reapers.

the thing above it and to the left looks like a blue-headed version of the xenomorph from alien.

With the face that thing has all I can think of is some kind of Prothean hybrid. I have no idea what it is but those tubes under his chin/mouth remind me of the statues of Ilos.

Prothean Husks? New Species? It's hard to tell since the artstyle does not match the games style directly. Remember how durp Turians looked in the comics? I did love the badass Salarian, too bad he went the dodos way.

It looks human to me. The body is very humanoid, and if you look directly at their face, it looks like a human skull. I think they are just a new human husk like a scion.

This is probably the most likely theory.

Nope, that's not a Banshee.

But I can bet it´ll still be in ME3, and be a Scion-like enemy (in terms of toughness).

It does strongly resemble the prothean on Arcian's avatar- it has the same tenticled mouthparts, is bipedal, and the arms look strikingly similar.

However there are two big differences:
1. There is no crest on the prothean seen in the vision. This can be attributed to the fact that it is a husk perhaps with a metalic addition to its body (it does look like a metal implant rather than an organic part of the original creatures body).
2. The biggest difference however is the hunched posture not seen in the protheans we see in the vision (who stand up straight). This makes the creature appear more like an elcor or krogan in the way it stands.

Well, that may be an eezo sack... remember our little friend Scion?

Maybe a Brute, the famed Krogan/Turian hybrid that had plate armour all over its body?...
Its face is pretty Turian like (those horns may be a fringe) and it has a hump...

No, if the Brute was Krogan/Turian, Brenon would have wrote it here:

It´s Phaedon´s second post in the linked page.

I sure hope that is Tali. She is sorta usless in ME2
Now she will have real abilities and not use almost useless ones.
And it explains why her "Dad" sent her on such dangerous assignments.
Why run ? It's a great idea. have new combat dialog where the enemy mercs go oh $#^!.

My conspiracy story is that Its some mish-mash of multipul aliens all mixed together, wich is why it has features from a few species.

We know from the ME3 demos that cerberus and the reapers were said by Casey Hudson to be manipulating races and combining them, ala the Cannibal wich is part Batarian and Human.

Also, I think TIM released these on the station on purpose in order to guage their combat effectiveness or take other usefull exparimental data. Those running cerberus scientists? their expendable. And also in terms of science, you can learn just as much from failure as success.

Its like the controlled release of the flu viris the CIA did in American subways during the 1950s in order to judge the rate of spread of a Soviet Biological attack. But Cerberus is all space Illuminati like that so i wouldent put it past them.

Maybe it's a Reaper "pure form" as it were. A construct manufactured synthetically, without using an organic species as a base.

After seeing the other picture, I abandon my original statement. I now doubt they are Protheans.

BUT!
Has anyone remarked what they say? "RrrRRrrrRRrRRRR!!1!"

I can't take this creature serious now... Not when it pretends to be menacing by rRRrrrRRrring...

We know for sure that thing is not friendly and is probably connected to the Reapers somehow.

Do you guys think it will be in Mass Effect 3 game?

They are only five? Whoops, I thought I saw six of them (you know three and three, sort of a fused hand)...
My bad... XD

It does. The head looks like a cuttlefish. It's very clear. And as we know cuttlefish in ME = Reapers.
