Yeah, it can be confusing.  But it seems odd to use a unit as small as a centimeter to measure height.  Wouldn't it make more sense to use decimeters?

Ya we do in Canada too. Although it isn't lightyears from America, but still haha.

Edit: I mean we use feet and inches, not cm.
