I just tried logging in to mutliplayer for the first time, and what a surprise, once again, DRM is only hurting those of us that do things legitimately. Never has there been a more shoot yourself in the foot philosophy since the dawn of man... Well, Eugenics aside.

Anyways, I try connecting to the Sigil City of Doors module, and it says "Your CD Key is unauthorized." So I come here, go to register the game, and you have to choose the game you're registering before it lets you put the key in. And where is Neverwinter Nights 2? Nowhere to be seen on the list.

I'm really getting sick of the level of incompetence Bioware seems to show toward their customers; first the fiasco with the premium modules in the first NWN , and now this... Honestly Bioware, are you TRYING to drive away your customers? I guess so, because try as I might, I can find no tech support number whatsoever. I guess your're the sort of company that figures "We already got your money, why should we bother helping you further?", and you don't even try to hide it.

EDIT: And since I know SOMEONE will ask the question in an attempt to stall for time, yes, it did this with every other server I attempted.

OK, this is odd.

I can connect and if I am missing any content the auto downloader works. You might want to see if there is a different name you are using for the MP. That might be an issue or just double check that you have the right cdkey info in your CDKEY.ini file.

Alright, I went ahead and checked the file you said, and apparently, it only had the vanilla key in there (since, oddly enough, neither MotB or SoZ asked for them when I installed them). I went ahead and entered the keys into the file manually, and it seems to be working now. A great many thanks unto you.

But to Bioware and Atari, I'm still not shutting up about the Premium Modules problem! (Although I will carry that over to a forum dedicated to the first NWN game instead of ranting about it here).

Mario, I'm glad you are back in business. The premium mod situation sure does bite. I'm hoping something in the near future will change this.

But I won't hold my breath that's for sure.
