How is mana and stamina regeneration calculated?

I think Wynne's Mass Rejuvenation is a bit weak (if even noticeable), and even when I've tried it together with Leiliana's bard song mana comes back very slow IMHO. I want more mana, because having lots of it is fun. At the same time I've prioritized MAGIC to get some punch in the damage-spells (which I cannot complain anything at all about).

Is mana regen calculated from your total mana-pool, or is it a fixed value? Or does you WILL affect the rate?

Anybody tried Death Syphon and what do you think about its mana-pay-back?

Help appreciated.

I am confident it is a fixed amount (which I find bad). No idea how much it is exactly but you're not the only one noticing it doesn't seem to regenerate quickly enough to make a difference.

Death Syphon is a very useful spell, I find. I walk through a battlefield and continue to rain destruction on my enemies, which results in more mana...Of course, it won't carry you on its own, you'll still need other sources of mana to make up the difference in emergencies (or when there's nobody dead yet), but it does reduce your Lyrium intake.

Hehe, my char have a pink nose from snorting too much Lyrium Posted Image. It's getting expensive and she's considering going over to mushroomsPosted Image (the one that goes into the health potion) and start practicing blood infusions Posted Image.  ;)

Sorry for the bad jokes. I'm very much against drugs.Posted Image Just that your wording got me ranting.

I think the code is....

{ anthing that would be at all meaningful given the spam nature of mana pots]

  *.* = useless.

Mmm, I just discovered how cheap the smaller mana potions are to make yourself. Earlier I was a bit restrictive to use them, but now I have made a huge load (that must be stashed in some kind of invicible wheelbarrow unless the flasks are soo concentrated they fit into barbiebottles).

All monsters beware, a slightly mad wizzy is coming for you...

Lyrium dust runs out? News to me. I thought the circle tower vendor sold an infinite quantity.

The Tower does. At least if the mages are alive, never seen what the tower looks like if you sided with the Templars though...

The quartermaster stays alive and kicking regardless.
