If you're in a romance with her, she'll join you in a threesome with Zev, but if you decline, she won't go off with him. But then, that part of the encounter is pretty buggy, so it doesn't surprise me to hear that it bugged out in your game.

I think Zev is very bugged anyhow. He didn't seem to remember my wardens anymore...sigh

He should have. He will decline since he doesn't think the Warden would be too happy with that haha, and if the Warden died I think he says it's just too soon.

Hrm hard to really say since this is a no spoilers section ...

But for my female Hawke:

Anders was so imbalanced that what happened at the end seriously ticked me off.
Merrill seems to naieve for my female
Isabella too much like a ... lady of the night
And Fenris ... I just want to beat him up.

Sebastian was my guy, even though they screwed me over with NO NARRATIVE at the end even though he's in every other part of the game.

That sounds like what I remembered!  So my game was not bugged and hence don't recommend her as a serious romance.

Depends on how you play her and what is her/your perspective is.    If she is a mage I think Fenris would be out of the picture for her and Anders would make more sense but maybe to some people they believe in the opposites attract thing.  In the end of the day it is up to you and how you view it.

I made two very different mages, one who romances Anders and the other Fenris.  The big thing for me was choosing Rival or Friendship romances.  I couldn't stand the dialogue of a "nice" friendmancing Hawke in regards to Fenris, and deleted the character and remade her as a forceful rival for him.  That was much more interesting to me.  Anders, on the other hand, made it REALLY hard to gain rivalry with, even though I had planned to originally.

So yeah, classes don't mean as much to me when roleplaying a romance as much as the dialogue tones and friendship/rivalry.  YMMV.

This is the case. Isabela will proposition Zevran in the exact same way whether in a relationship or not. The difference is that if there is a relationship Hawke gets to speak before anything happens. You can then ask Isabela not to go through with it and she will comply. Alternatively you can get a threesome going. If you do neither and pick the neutral lines so to speak she will go off with Zevran on her own as per usual. It's especially demoralizing if done after completing the romance and having the last Hanged Man scene.

Well, having played all 3 classes as a femHawke, I think it's class dependent really. After having tried Anders, Fenris and Isabella (on a maleHawke) in that order, I can say that I prefer Fenris by a wide margin. I have no desire to romance Merrill whatsoever. However, for RP reasons, I think it depends on the class your characters is.

It makes sense that a mage would be able to empathize with Anders. Even though you have not been in a circle yourself, you can understand how he thinks as a fellow mage.

With Fenris, either melee class will do. Fenris is a warrior; and even though he has some unique abilities, he understands using force to achieve a goal. Being a non-mage also lets you empathize with him in that you would both be fighters living in a world with magic, with the potential to be victims of that magic and the crazed mages who wield it. Even if you don't agree with his views on magic or mages based either on your own morals or family connections, you do have those things in common.

I quite liked the idea of being a SnS warrior when I romanced Isabella. Although she is a competent fighter in her own right and can certainly take care of herself, there is a certain vulnerability there that I thought fit well with SnS. It was especially fitting with the Arishok duel.

Well, Isabela hasn't exactly been in many relationships over the course of her life lol. I would think if your LI propositioned someone for sex you would still pipe up and say SOMETHING either wtf? no! or oh hey let me join in.

But yeah, I guess I would suggest doing her relationship quest last. That's how it worked out for me anyways when I was just her friend in my playthrough. Still, to me it never seemed like you really *IN* a relationship with Isabela until basically the Last Straw, and her last quest I guess since she finally admits to you then that she's fallen for you.

Also...come on guys, it's Zevran...what do you expect?! The dashing Elven assassin who frees women from loveless marriages! It's like an honored tradition of Isabela's to be his sexfriend. Hehehe.

My characters wouldn't, prolly because I wouldn't try and stop anyone either. Afterwards all I would say is its over between us and move on. I don't need/want that kind of relationship in my games. RL can be enough for some.

I think in that case Merrill is a more stable pick.

Fenris and Anders also remain faithful to Hawke. Fenris is actually a surprise, if you romance him then run around with Izzy he warns her off.
