ME1: Adept with AR

I wish in ME1 Sentinel had warp to begin with, and I would add AR would make him my favorite, but I settled with 2nd best, adept wiht AR.

ME2: Custom Soldier
1-Adrenaline
2-Inferno AMmo
3-Disrptor squad ammo
4-Concussion shot
5-Medi gel
6-Reave
7-Energy Drain
8-Barrier/geth Shield Boost
9-Slam
10-Flash grenade

2nd favorite. Sentinel modded to wield AR and Snipers.

I love the specialized classes above the hybrids, and of those, my favorite would have to be the Engineer. The adept and soldier tie for second, leaving the sentinel in 4th, the infiltrator/vanguard tied for last.
BTW I play ME2 on the Xbox

1: Infiltrator. Cloak is amazingly fun.
2: Vanguard for obvious reasons.
3: Engineer. The shotgun engineer was more fun than anticipated!
4: Adept. Biotic combos. Biotic combos everywhere.
5: Soldier. The class is fun, but A-rush makes it a tad easy.
6: Sentinel. Same reason as a soldier. A bit too easy.

My femgineer Alexandria is ready for action. She was my very first playthrough in ME1 and 2 plus she's my most replayed character as well. I have one for each class, 4 are female and 2 male. My second favorite in my female infiltrator Cristina.

Fav: Vanguard
Least Fav: Vanguard

Why? Well, I love Charging all over the place and the rush from being in everyone's face while almost dying is tons of fun... but it's my least favorite as well because I hate having my screen filled with red, pulsing, "you're about to die" veins.... constantly.

Never had the chance to play ME1, but for ME2...

-Infiltrator (Sniping from cloak = <3 I love my Widow, and Geth Shield Boost + Locust SMG is always fun.)
-Sentinel (I loved the exploding shield. Getting hurt never felt so good.)
-Adept (I love seeing enemies fly all over for some reason. Makes me feel like a... BIOTIC GOD.)
-Soldier (It's fun to be so versatile. Never running out of ammo is nice too.)
-Engineer (Fully upgraded combat drone pretty much adds a fourth squad member to the fray.)
-Vanguard (I'm not much for almost dying every time I want to kill something. Vanguard is still kinda fun, but I think it'll be the last class I beat the game as.)

Soldier

Then again you can't say you've got a favourite unless you've tried em all right? i've only played soldier and adept and i actually like adept too but i've always been the one who always pick the warrior in games or barbarian if you're a D2 freak like myself... BASH BASH BASH! =))

I bought ME1 and ME2 about two or three months ago. So I've only played a soldier in ME1 thus that's my favorite in ME1. I would say soldier anyways even if I had played the other classes because I like the whole idea behind them(i.e. you don't need to be special; just solve every problem with guns.)

In ME2

1. Soldier(same reason as above)
2. Vanguard- it's the most challenging class and very fun once you do get the hang of it.
3. Adept- not very kill efficient compared to the combat classes, but very satisfying when you pull off awesome biotic combos.
4. Infiltrator- Solid Snake(I've had fun with this class; just not as much fun as the ones listed above)
5. Sentinel- In games, I tend not to favor classes that are so well rounded for some reason.
6. Engineer- Never played past the Lazarus Project. That said, I actually think I would have lots of fun with this class, but I've never played it. Thus it is last.

1 ) Vanguard - Nothing beats charging all over the place destroying -nearly- everything.
2 ) Adept - Gotta love blowing things up.
3 ) Soldier - Love the Revenant

Other classes... so so.

I suppose I should eleborate on why engineer is my most favorite class from day 1 with ME1.

1. Pistol was super overpowered and with the specialization skill it was deadly accurate as well.  I stormed across the galaxy and shot everything to pieces with just a sidearm.  While still deadly in ME2, I'm glad it was relegated to a more practical backup role.

2.  The Overload and Sabotage combnation in ME1 was by itself a battle winner.  Half the time I was charging in like a soldier just pistol whipping bad guys with no shields and an overheated weapon.

3.  Neural Shock was especially handy against charging Krogan.  Saved my life from being smashed with a shotgun countless times.

4.  I know a lot of engineer proponents advocate the AI Hack but I never really utilized it.  Too specialized IMO.  Handy when dealing with mechs and geth but overload plus bullets take them out just fine

5.  In ME2, the engineer can take on just about any threat.  Incinerate for health (plus the victim is panicing trying to put the fire out instead of shooting at you) and armor.  Overload for shields and Warp Ammo for barriers.  Plus the Combat Drone is essentially a 4th squadmate as another described it.  Cryo looks cool but I generally omit that skill in favor of specializing in Incinerate.

6.  In ME2 the engineer got a discount on the number of resources it took to research upgrades which meant less mining which I didn't terribly mind but I'd rather be shooting things!

I'm not sur why engineer is so heavily underrated.  Maybe I like it in part because for whatever reason I chose that class first and it was more or less my "first love" encounter with the game hench my loyalty to it.

As for my second favorite class, for ME2, it's definitely the Infiltrator.  Stealth is more that just a convenience, it's a battle winner.  Be it in the skies with modern stealth planes, under the seas with subs or on the ground with concealed snipers stalking their target.  Heck, even the Normandy utilizes stealth as it's primary capability.

Hmm. I didn't play all the classes.

In the first game, I started as Soldier. Did that over to get to level 60. Then started working for achievements. Engineer was next, then Adept. Played infiltrator a couple times after that. All in all hard to say. The one that surprised me the most was was Adept since you become a biotic god by the end. Top pick is either Soldier or Infiltrator... They play pretty similar though.

ME2: Started as Soldier again. Next class was Infiltrator. Then Sentinel. Now in the middle of a Vanguard campaign. I would probably pick Revenant Soldier as my favorite. Did a Widow soldier as well, which was why I went with the AR on my Infiltrator. By the end I was almost using incinerate more than cloak. Sentinel is a good class. Vanguard can tilt between extremely fun and extremely annoying. I was surprised on the first couple of missions how much fun it was... when I got to Korlus I ran into some issues. I got stuck in mid-air on the fight with the Krogan over the bridge like 3 or 4 times after a charge and couldn't do anything but get killed. Oddly, I have managed to get stuck in the air with other classes there so maybe it isn't really a VG problem but a map problem. It was just the 1st time it had happened multiple times in the same mission. Then I managed to get stuck in air on Horizon. Haven't really had that happen since then though and it has been mostly fun again.

I prefer either Vanguard or Infiltrator. Vanguard because I like to use biotics as a means for taking easy shots and Infiltrator just because I am more of a sniper oriented person for a lot of games, not just Mass Effect.

I've only played the Soldier throughout ME1 & 2, and I really enjoy it. Somewhat tank-ish and a gun for every situation. Also AR+Mattock+the right Ammo power and I'm tearing through enemy health bars like a hot knife through butter. I love it!

Once I get around to another playthrough I plan to go Engineer. Dronespam sounds awesome!

I've only played soldier in ME1.
In ME2 I started as soldier and just loved it, but then again shooters are some of my favorite games. I have also tried Vanguard and Infiltrator. Infiltrator is a lot fun with the sniper slow down and cloak, but there were times when I felt like I was playing soldier again only w/o the raw fire power of soldier. Vanguard was something else all together. . . Was a little frustrating at first as it played so differently but once I got the hang of charging it was amazing. I have been meaning to try adept but so far soldier and vanguard are tied for my favorite classes.
